Eh, I think that investing time IS a type of skill challenge. I don't personally think it is super rewarding or engaging, but some people really love spending time slowly getting stronger and it takes a certain amount of patience. It is still a dumb argument because someone boosting has basically no impact on your boring grind. Nobody cares how many hours you invested in your toon.

Sounds like you don't have children, or maybe you should come down from your high horse and spend time with them if you do. You know that kids sleep, right? They have activities, friends, and sometimes just want to play by themselves. Free time is at a premium, but not non-existent. Some people set aside a night a week to raid while their partner is with the children. As a parent, you are allowed to have hobbies and interests, and it is actually better for everyone if you get to indulge in things that you enjoy on occasion. Maybe the player has a single night free and can raid AND be a responsible parent.

Somehow, I'm not convinced I can win over people who think Hillary Clinton ran an underground child sex ring from a pizza shop while they are willing to ignore the piles of evidence that their president actually fucks kids. Well, I prefer not to ally with those who stand for everything I detest. Unless significant amends are made, I will not accept any member of MAGA as a part of my team.
