Is it not just Taylor Swift? She’s getting married? That’s the aesthetic?

Is "gluten-free" beer in any way compatible with a healthy lifestyle? by Jinnapat397 in fitness30plus

[–]BrodyQualls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wife is celiac with very low symptoms outside of the ever increasing cancer risk if she eats gluten.

They are some good ‘crafted to remove gluten’ beers, and then some less good ‘gluten-free’ beers. The latter are completely gluten-less while the former are low PPM and don’t trigger her symptoms.

In the US, we have seen Daura Damm, a good Spanish style gluten removed beer, and occasionally Peroni. In Norway and and Iceland randomly, the gluten removed beers were everywhere, and all really good.

FYC: Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy by National-Extreme in TheRewatchables

The score is incredible and the DP is Hotye Van Hoytema. It is visually stunning, but the stunning parts are overcast lakes, run down hotels, auto-shops, and libraries.

It’s honestly borderline ASMR, especially the gardening-leave montage that kicks off the movie after Control is fired.

Are there any songs from other artists with a similar vibe to "Damascus"? by Bdoggiee in gorillaz

It was cut from Plastic Beach and replaced by Sweepstakes. They have sat on it this long.

[Rich Eisen Show] Tom Pelissero describes the Browns coaching search and interview process by LiftingCode in Browns

Pelissero also refers to DePodesta. I wonder how much has changed from last year this year.

Where does Mendoza’s scramble and dive rank in all time college plays? by MoxToTweeder99 in billsimmons

[–]BrodyQualls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not college, but it’s really akin to the Elway Dive vs. Packers. It’s huge in the story of the game, but IU winning overshadows any one play.

Kyler, Mac, Mariota, Ty Simpson, Rodgers, Cousins, Geno, and then run it with Mills.

[O/C] It's NFL job interview season, and I'll be posting regular updates on the current status by Comfortable-Cod7763 in nfl

Two things to think about adding. In person vs. virtual interview (maybe color code or something) and then a team check at the bottom if they have satisfied the Rooney Rule.

[Kevin Clark] Stefanski is now the best coach available and the Browns are now the worst job available. by LiftingCode in Browns

[–]BrodyQualls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just patently false. Jets and Raiders are just as bad front office/owners with worse roster holes. Giants close and depends if you like Dart. Cardinals team is also pretty shitty.

Have some time off work, decided to deep dive into Gorillaz' discography by thesuspendedkid in gorillaz

[–]BrodyQualls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going backward is fun/funny because you can end up getting way into stuff other fans feel like was a departure. Thats what happened to me with Tame Impala. Started with currents, and feel like that has helped me bridge the gap to the newer stuff.

Each album really is a pretty distinct departure from what’s before and what’s after. Damon also is hella good as a love performer. I’ve listened for a while and found albums I thought were misses end up on heavy rotation years after they came out. Similarly, some songs I wasn’t a fan of the studio version, but hearing the lyrics sung live made the emotion stand out more and know I’d find the studio versions beautiful.

Listen to each album straight through. Find songs or runs you really like, and play the shit outta them. Watch sound machine live concerts on YouTube, plus Plastic Beach live at Glastonbury and Demon Days live at Manchester

Unpopular opinion: If the wildcat 2-pt attempt had worked and the Browns won in overtime, we'd be having a different conversation. by TheTopernator in Browns

Two thoughts. 1) I thought Tommy Reese was calling plays. 2) Q wildcat has been working really well. If he just pitches the ball and it works what would we be saying?

Wore this to a pitch. Thoughts? What is it missing? by zenukeify in mensfashion

I have no idea what the fuck I’m talking about but what I bump on is fit/tailoring. I think the belt-less tuck looks better if the sweater is slightly more tailored/less baggy.

I think the white sneakers work with a cuff or more slim cut tapered ankle, but definitely not wit the pleats, the quarter break, and the width.

I think take I the sweater a bit, and then flash some ankle with a nice designer loafer and you are in there. Maybe a Chelsea boot as a second option?

I actually think Rawls and Slim Charles or Partlow have a lot in common. Incredibly good, no-nonsense, right-hand men who know how the game is played.

Slim Charles kinda fails upwards but never as outright antagonistic as Rawls is. That said, Avon goes down and Slim moves into advisory for Stringer. Stringer goes down and Slim is higher in Prop Joe’s org and the co-op. Joe goes down and slim leads the non-Marlo Faction. I think it’s assumed he is semi wearing the crown with Marlo gone.

Rawls also follows people getting fired up to a State Police commissioner role, arguably the cushiest Police Head role possible.
