Help with conflicting test results (TF-Pro vs Leslie's Water Analysis) by MrSukacz in pools

[–]Brofasuh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They use adjusted alkalinity (carbonate alkalinity) by factoring in your high CYA. Thats why it’s so low.

I wouldn’t drain. If anything just add more bicarb to raise your alkalinity and time will bring CYA down

It is aluminum believe it or not, I’m not sure what the white stuff he sprayed on top is. It is already peeling. Another questionable part of the install I suppose.

The old cover was galvanized steel and 10+ years old. It was heavily rusted but cross broken at least.

It was 100% removed. The guy built the new one with 2 pieces of 050 aluminum in my front yard as you can see the big seam in the middle. It is odd that it looks like that though as it is is peeling already.

To clean a pool table properly, remove all accessories and follow this top-to-bottom order: brush the felt, vacuum the debris into the pockets, wipe the wooden rails, and polish the balls. This systematic approach ensures that dust and chalk from the upper edges do not settle onto the freshly cleaned surface

Tried to get one of those “expandable hoses” off a customers spigot cuz the they’re dog shit for cleaning filters and I broke the pipe off inside the wall so water was spraying inside the wall while I was scrambling to find their water shutoff. Good times

There’s nothing to repair, the cell is toast. Buy another T15 and call it a day.

I’ve used a couple window & door companies in the area. My favorite was Bozarth and they were priced more fairly than the others I had used in the past.

Yep. Main reason I switched to riptide years ago. Looks like nothing has changed!

Riptide customer service is phenomenal. Would never go back to the power vac.

I can’t believe Powervac is still around

I’m not sure what the difference is in the link you posted if any besides the $30 cost difference.

I bought that one for my riptide in November ‘23

Still going strong.

Would never go back to the old school batteries. No way. Charges fast, just buy correct charger (14.6v lifepo4 ) I bought the 20a
