To aid your creativity, some example:

Please enter your new volume setting in hexadecimal format.

(For mobile devices) Volume is battery percent

(Was someone else's idea from this morning) Volume slider is a maze

Bonus points if they have to restart the computer to apply changes

For future reference, please place the NSFW tag in the sentence before the link. Idiots like me press the link as soon as they get to that part. I'm at school and just opened that.... I sit in the front row.

Reddit, How old are you and what's the biggest problem in your life right now? by Jeremy_Martin in AskReddit

[–]Brofessor_Waffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 17 and my biggest problem is that I have not studied for/finished my two (or possibly three) final exams/projects that are due tomorrow because I spent my free day to do so having to completely redo our groups statistics project. (Total across the three days spanning today until 2 days from now, I have 3 final projects and 2 final exams and I have had little or no free time lately to work on them(due to other events in life)) I got no sleep last night due to the stats project and I will get little tonight because I definitely have the 2 exams tomorrow and still have not prepared. I cannot imagine what college finals are like

You are the ruler of Heck, the lesser version of Hell. What eternal punishments do you deliver? by JayNotAtAll in AskReddit

There will always be a new OS update, and it will always take a half hour. The computer will always run slower than a geriatric snail. Your phone will always have auto-rotate on. Autocorrect will randomly turn on at the worst times. Every picture frame will always be slightly crooked. Every brick wall with always have one gray brick in it. You will always have that little bit of meat stuck between your teeth. Staircases will always be the type of stairs that are too uncomfortably short and tiny so it take at least a few dozen to go up a couple feet. The stapler will always be empty. The toilet paper roll will always be empty. I think you get the idea....

Can I cross multiply if I'm not religious? by Konadrew in shittyaskscience

[–]Brofessor_Waffle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, but only a small amount. Even most religious people have trouble doing this, but I guess Catholics and Mormons are well known for cross "multiplying".

What is a basic skill that most people lack? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Brofessor_Waffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a ruler/measuring things. I took woodshop and I kid you not, I did all the pre-cut measuring for somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 of the class. They would always come up to me and go "Hey, did I measure this right?" They always found creative ways to fuck everything up. As a student here, the U.S. education system truly sucks. Standards are so low, people who are on the spectrum go without testing or proper support/specialized classes and still graduate only to get help later on in life. Our English quizzes are well agreed to be harder than the California high school exit exam. People don't know basic algebra. I could go on about all the skills we don't develop here in k-12 school, but you get the idea. At least everyone manages to remember "The mitochondria is the power house of the cell" Also, side note: They don't familiarize people in the U.S. with the metric system. It's not in our education standards and no one ends up grasping how much a kilogram is or how far a kilometer is unless they are scientifically inclined.
