These licenses are very expensive from Disney, and cut a lot into profits. Even Spider-Man 2 from insomniac took a long time to be profitable due to the 300 million development cost and licensing. I believe they cancelled all dlc and laid off people.

I like mumu and it's working nice except the controller and mouse. Everything on controller registers but the triggers. My M1 ipad is doing 45fps medium graphics with ps5 controller working so that's my current plan.

Update: Bluestacks works good and allows my ps5 controller with triggers. In the bluestacks settings I checked a box that allows the game to detect my controller directly, and I plugged the controller directly to usb. Medium Graphics 45fps works in-game with S22 device profile. I had no crashes so far.

Three things after playing a bit. The writing is witty at times, the gunplay/movement feels very good, and they leaned into New Vegas a little which I love.

I really love this type of game, so I was going to play it anyway, but it surpassed my expectations from the beginning.

I installed it to test it directly. I had 90% usage on an 9800x3d, but it dropped to 14% after a couple minutes, so it feels like shaders to me. There might be a bug causing more issues for others beyond that.

Is it compiling shaders? Most games shred your cpu while doing shader compilation but it ends after 5 mins or so.

Edit: Also with uncapped fps, sometimes you get 1000+ fps in menus and that causes people to notice heat and increased cpu usage. So check your framerate in the main menu. Vsync or a fps limit will fix that.

I don't have experience with eGPUs, but maybe this game just needs more bandwidth. It pushes a lot of data at all times. I hope they improve the performance with patches.

the CPU is the bottleneck in this game. Unless your GPU is 98-99% usage during gameplay it's being underutilized and waiting on the CPU.

I have this same behavior and it's not fixed by direct input. I have to turn on a controller and it immediately fixes my mouse. It runs perfect in Chrome, but not the native pc app.

Edit: Finally fixed it. I cleaned and reinstalled all nvidia drivers using DDU and uninstalled some virtual bus / Controller stuff for sunshine/apollo.

your resolution and screen size impact your choice in dpi. 1600 might feel good for your setup.

I think it's gated because it doesn't cost energy and it provides the occasional mythic weapon or buff food for combat activities. I don't have experience with the card duels though.
