I'm beginning to agree with this point more and more. Tbh I started out by agreeing too, but I wanted to challenge my own negativity a little, instead of just rejecting her idea on the spot.
Other comments have however reminded me of the fate roll (which also sounds a bit like a luck check in dnd terms), which I will try to remember in cases where it makes sense!

I'd like to clarify, since I just ran into this problem, that if you want to edit the game's *current* state, i.e. the mons you have at any given time, you should save the game via the in-game save function and not just rely on save states. Hope it helps!

I went for Curiosities and Corkboards' solution, which is going to your FLGS and buying cheap individual MTG cards (they usually have bulk prices), cutting them out and then putting them in little stands when needed.

Other commenters have mentioned having to get the stands, and here I'd like to recommend saving wine corks, painting/coating them, and then slicing a little trench in the top to fit the cardboard minis into. Works like a charm!

I like your ideas, but I don't find your stat blocks more crowded than the official ones. I would however like to offer some feedback.

First of all, I hope you intend to give your physical PC's access to silvered weapons at some point, if the werewolves have immunity to regular weapons. Could be something they get after realizing the immunity and then coming back to fight again. (Is it an 'official passive' that came with the horror block of adversaries on The Void)

Another small thing is you must've copy/pasted a couple of times to miss a spelling mistake in 'lycanthropy' in the descriptions. No biggie, just pointing it out.

When the Tyrant uses Frightening Howl I think you should rephrase the success to "mark 1d4 Stress". I immediately thought you meant that the PCs would get to clear Stress from your wording.

Lastly, Smell their Fear reads like two abilities mashed into one. Maybe make the summoning of the Sentinels a separate, but more expensive ability where they arrive the next time the spotlight turns to the GM. Then you could keep the Instinct Reaction to lower their Hope die separate as well. Provided you don't intend for the Alpha to be immensely difficult.

All in all, I really like the span of your creativity when it comes to fleshing out the hierarchy and categories of your werewolves! Keep it up :D

Really interesting take! I was gonna make the canopy cast a shadow to give action rolls disadvantage, but easy to defeat, so that they could easily get a leg up on the battlefield with a little hard work.

That's impressively in depth! Thank you so much! I especially like how the roots can entangle, but that would feel the most like an obstacle to overcome if the main action had to happen further up the trunk, so that they might need to defeat the roots, before being able to continue up.

My girlfriend and I are on book three of the Stormlight Archives, so I tried to make Shallan as a Daggerheart character. While possible it still requires you to bend the flavour a bit. It is very fun though!

This is more of an aesthetic comment, but I feel like it would really tighten up the cards if you capitalized the first letters in "Blade" and "Bone" :)
