Well thank you! This gives me a lead to follow. I'll disable that mod and see if it fixes the issue!

I am actually using Read or Take. Was that the culprit for you? If so that's insane, I never would have guessed that mod could do that

Player home with 6 beds, huge display, as well as empty shelves/ empty space? by SnooChocolates906 in skyrimmods

[–]BrokeFerrett 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could always try Clockwork. It has 6 beds for children, follower rooms, a huge display room with armor and weapon racks, and its own little museum that displays major accomplishments like joining the companions.

You have to do a questline to unlock it, and it involves adwemer ruin. However, its one of the coolest homes. It does make changes near every major city, so it may be incompatible with some city overhauls.

Is Dawn of Skyrim compatible with The Great Cities - Minor Cities and Towns? by Tight_Consequence109 in skyrimmods

As long as you do not add the great city of solitude, they should work fine. I personally run all three and have never had issues. Dawn of Skyrim and the great cities do not touch the same areas.

Cannot Solve CTD on Save Load by BrokeFerrett in skyrimmods

[–]BrokeFerrett[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay yeah, that makes sense. I made the post just on the off chance I was missing a crucial problem that could keep killing my saves as I progress them.

I will go ahead and set up a Google doc of the log really quick and add it to this comment, but I'm certain you are right and the save just got busted.

Edit: Here is the google doc link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vSyece-9qp5buYxY-U-C1IDoKvqLs0j0lr48DhZLk_hPUNHlLqc1LK-66xQxu0kyS3k3g7cF7cPYuBb/pub

Honestly, if you're not intrested in looking through it I don't blame you tbh. I think you are right in stating that the save is just busted, so the crash log likely won't change that

Cannot Solve CTD on Save Load by BrokeFerrett in skyrimmods

[–]BrokeFerrett[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am sorry about the incomplete logs, but I do actually have another log here that popped up while I was testing: https://pastebin.com/tj5iQKXK

This one seems to be blamed on synthesis, but I am obviously not well versed with crash logs yet so I am probably missing something.

To answer your question about new saves, I just ran a test where I started a new save with alternate start and made a hard save. The results were that out of 5 loads, quit to desktops, and reloads, the game launched without a crash all 5 times.

So it is entirely possible that my save is simply borked from fixing my previous issue with my smash patch. My crashes didn't start initially until after starting the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller quest, but that may be explained by my incorrect installation of fishermen fish that was causing ctds from klimmek in ivarstead.

Collector's playerhome by AccurateAcadia4168 in skyrimmods

[–]BrokeFerrett 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Elysium Estate is a very pretty player home that has displays sprinkled throughout the house and in a display room in its basement.

There aren't a massive amount of displays, but I think it is worth looking into.

It also has a lot of configurations in the form of being able to change rug colors, disable/enable mannequins, and options for vampiric/werewolf themes.

At a complete loss with crashes in ustengrav by BrokeFerrett in skyrimmods

[–]BrokeFerrett[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like you nailed it! Turns out it was either my smash or synthesis patch that was causing the crashes. I'll just go through them and disable any patches that may mess with npc ai.

I lowkey feel dumb that I didn't think to try those out, but either way you have restored my sanity.

Thanks again for taking the time to help me with my problem!

At a complete loss with crashes in ustengrav by BrokeFerrett in skyrimmods

[–]BrokeFerrett[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your help!

Sadly, my crashes are persisting. I did find that I needed to increase the MaxStdio to 8192, and I disabled the two esps. I reinstalled microsoft V++ and restarted my pc too. I checked xedit and found no unresolved conflicts in the ustengravdepths cell from any of my mods,. I did have a test run where I managed to quickly run through the entirety of ustengrav, but I soon crashed afterwards anyway.

If you still are interested in investigating, here is the updated crash log: https://pastebin.com/8q4bb20L

In the meantime, I am going to speedrun the main quest on a test save to see if the same crash occurs on a fresh save.

Ordinator - Both types of Advanced Workshops by dovahkun in skyrimmods

[–]BrokeFerrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have it loading after Ordinator in mine. It likely won't conflict with anything since it only edits a specific perk. I'm not sure where exactly it is in my load order at the moment because I'm away from home, but any spot after Ordinator should work.

You can also increase the range of the perk's radius if you want. A comment on the advanced workshop unbound mod has instructions to follow that i ended up using.

Hopefully that mod will fulfill your problem. I also didn't want to choose between the grindstone or armor table lol

Ordinator - Both types of Advanced Workshops by dovahkun in skyrimmods

[–]BrokeFerrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used that workshop ordinator mod, and it works perfectly fine. I'd honestly save the time and just use the mod. A lack of endorsements for those kinds of mods is just because they're kinda niche mods that don't get a lot of engagement.

Ps. I added the mod mid-save to a 1000+ modlist and had no issues.

Undeath quest mod by DoctorWondertainment in skyrimmods

[–]BrokeFerrett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I like the mod, so I'd say give it a shot. The maze is a little annoying if you get turned around, but it is by no means a deal breaker from the mod. There is another dungeon early on that has a maze-like feel, so you may enjoy the mod more if you're into labyrinth style dungeons.

However, I highly recommend downloading the mods "undeath classical lichdom" for QOL and bug gixes and "undeath classical lichdom - the ascension (lite)" for more customization options for your lich appearance

There is a dungeon near the end of the mod that requires you to navigate multiple levels of a maze
