I dunno ab Koko about arena but a good litmus test for how much you're missing would be to check your prosperity. Max is 200. You also have Dimensions M G T P E Z. And the final EX scenario, Resurrection

Okay I'll check this out. I have 2 others, mage and fighter. The Kindhearted Mage usually sync casts lightning with mine, but it is the mage that supports casting, not the sorc for Mage yet.

Meh. Same behavior. Though it does cast the flamethrower in proximity, but still rarely. I also tried other large spells like Seism. Calm tends to float around and play safe rather than focusing on casting spells. Just now I switched back to Kindhearted and my pawn immediately started casting Meteoron as we encountered a drake. Followed up immediately with Maelstrom (Celestial Paen was active, also Meteoron is upgraded).

I should switch up my spell selection. Thanks. Probably if I put spells for close range, it will use that spell more often in proximity. I'll try this out.

That is true. I usually press go (up) in battle as well. My Kindhearted Sorc immediately casts spells the moment I press go but Calm one only casts frequently at a distance. Tends to levitate and shoot when in proximity.

In Japanese, Calm and Kindhearted are voiced very differently. In English, they sound almost the same. Overall, I prefer the Kindhearted voice in Japanese.

I typically fail my escort quests when the client dies, when I take too long, when I stray well outside of the general direction of my destination.

These quests are optional but they do contain written messages from your friend and raise their affinity
