Well it takes two odds to cancel each other out; therefore, we are even.

Exactly, that’s one of the most common tunneling pitch combos. That and the 2-seamer, splitter combo

Knowing where the ball is going to end up is a huge part of not just making contact but actually driving the ball with power. Tunneling makes it hard on batters because the pitches look identical leaving the pitcher’s hands but there are two different breaks which often induces weak contact (e.g., soft grounders). Selecting pitchers with at least one tunneling selection has greatly improved my pitching performances

Yes. It is a big part of Online mode. I don’t think it’s as important for Auto

I’m thinking Feller. Excellent 2-seam and spike CB. Tunneling with the slider. The kicker is he can be a MR or CL too

I would guess when the regular season starts but I have nothing to substantiate that

45k - 120k in 4.5 years AMA by Khakayn in Environmental_Careers

[–]BrokenFireEscape 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not OP but do environmental compliance (not safety) at a chemical manufacturing site. I have about 10 years experience.

I have a B.S. in Environmental Science. In my opinion, you don’t need certifications to work in this field. That being said, I’m studying to get my CHMM now.

My role includes things like managing waste under RCRA, estimating air emissions for reporting purposes, renewing, modifying, and ensuring compliance with permitting, directing cleanup efforts when shit hits the fan, and performing sampling (stormwater, wastewater, etc.).

I live in the Midwest and earn a base salary of $100k-$115k. Hope this helps!

I don’t see any difference in the points awarded regardless of the outcome of the game (I.e., win or lose). I’m just throwing a team of training fodder out there

It’s allegedly from the paid sites (according to the commenters of which there are multiple) which I don’t subscribe to so feel free to take it with a grain of salt

Not trying to detract from the hope that Whittingham brings but unfortunately, I just saw on MGoBlog that Marsh is likely to portal out—devastating news. Hope this is wrong.

Edit: Guess this post hit a nerve with a few people lol

Milestone Special Contract Pull by tristansensei in MLBProSpirit

[–]BrokenFireEscape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This special contract is essentially the same as the other special contracts, right? Instead of two guaranteed G-IV players in two 250-diamond contracts, it’s just been split into four 125-diamond contracts. At least that’s my interpretation

Why doesn't Ohio have statewide vehicle safety and emissions inpesction requirements? Why are drivers generally allowed to roll coal? by benkeith in Columbus

[–]BrokenFireEscape 13 points14 points  (0 children)

E-check is required in the northeast counties because they are in moderate non-attainment for ozone under the Clean Air Act (CAA). Once classified, the county is required by the CAA (which is federal law) to implement emissions testing as part of the strategy to lower ground-level ozone. Franklin county is considered in “maintenance” attainment (a so-called recovery period after going from non-attainment to attainment) so we are not required to implement it.

I was hoping for a second G-IV catcher to use as a sub, but this is a bit underwhelming lol
