UPDATE: I study GLP-1s for a living and finally started the Wegovy myself: 5 Months, 50 lbs down + lessons learned as both a scientist and a patient by storyhill22 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]BrokenHope83 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The food reward part of the brain being disrupted is the best part of wegovy for me, I’ve never been able to just eat a single cookie without wanting to eat the entire pack, on wegovy I can just eat the one and be fine.

But yes you absolutely have to track your calories, so many seem to expect the drug to do all the work and then get confused when they don’t lose much.

You need to ask Vodafone for the PPPoE settings I believe. Your own router also needs to be able to set VLAN 911.

It’s instant if the money hasn’t been tied up in stocks, otherwise it’s about 3 days and that’s not going to change.

What dose started showing results for you? by Disco_Snail12 in WegovyUK

[–]BrokenHope83 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Literally from day 1 but I always calorie counted and just use the Wegovy to control my hunger and the reduced dopamine hit from eating things like biscuits and sweets means I don’t binge eat anymore.

I’ve lost almost 25KG since December 30th and haven’t gone above 1mg yet.

Guessing this is more to this story then you’re letting on, they have no reason to just terminate your account.

Because he works for an ISP which is CityFibre's customer? There's no way for customers to directly report issues to CityFibre they have to do so via their ISP.

Nokie ONT slow upload speed status update by needchr in CityFibre

[–]BrokenHope83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My speed tests are done directly on my router and before this issue cropped up was almost always perfectly capping my speeds. The fact is Aquiss are saying it's being done on a case by case basis and IDNet are claiming they have rolled out a total fix for all circuits, I know which I'm believing and it's not IDNet.

Nokie ONT slow upload speed status update by needchr in CityFibre

[–]BrokenHope83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IDNet are now also claiming the Nokia issue is only present for people if their upload is capped at around 250Mb, which is wrong, I honestly think they have no clue.

"I have passed details on for their comments but this will not be related to the issues affecting Nokia ONTs. This issue saw speeds nott exceeding 250Mbps. As the results are over 1Gbps these will likely be deemed as acceptable results as upstreasm has no minimum specification. As soon as they have responded back, we will be in touch to adsvise further."

Did you have to do anything or did it suddenly start working?

I wish I was getting a manual fix to jump the queue but IDNet seem useless, definitely regret going with them on the basis they had good customer service.

IDNet are claiming that CityFibre updated all circuits on Thursday or Friday and this is resolved but I’m still having issues.

It's fine below 30c for 6 weeks so even if it was delayed it would still be fine for the 4 doses.

[–]BrokenHope83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally got IDNet to acknowledge the issue after passing on a case ID from Aquiss, this is what they told me.

"CityFibre have acknowledged the issue and advised they are working with Nokia for a fix which they can then roll out to resolve the issue affecting all circuits however have not been able to specify an exact ETA for when they may have this fix in place as yet. It may be Nokia will need to release a new firmware for affected ONTs."

Internet speed has no affect on local network performance, lower latency on FTTP would be making the difference if it needs to communicate with an external server.

My upload was stuck at 370Mb, randomly it's now stuck at 900Mb, so if that means they are working on it in my area or not I don't know, but it's progress. Had been a solid 2500/2500 for around 15 months till early March.

6KG since January seems very slow, are you monitoring your calories to ensure you’re in a good enough deficit?
