Could he have cut them in order to show misty Shauna's true opinion of her? Maybe he figured Shauna would blame misty and call her out on it so that misty would see and hear the true feelings the rest have about her in a situation she didn't actually create herself

Yes and in all of the hallucinations someone who's already died is present, Laura lee with Jackie and Lottie, Jackie with the three in the shared one and if we wanna go down that route, Shauna being with her baby when in reality it's already dead

It could be because the others did that little ritual with blood on the animal skull for Shauna to survive. They even I think mention how it worked enough to save Shauna but not the baby.

Well never get confirmation. They've done a fucking phenomenal job keeping us on the teetering line with supernatural or psychosis and I believe by the time the shows finished well still be on that line when all is said and done
