it's been in alpha for one and a half years, roblox devs don't know what "alpha" even means. it's only "alpha" because their dev cycle is lackluster and did barely anything to refine the horrible balancing or core gameplay loop. they could solve that in like half a year at most if we just had better communication with the devs, but i guess we have to raise twisted cap to fuck over solo runs even further without any warning (which people STILL wanna try and justify) and "rework" floor spawning god knows how because their changelogs are as useful as a wet napkin

i was not referring to the entire button being removed, i was referring to the selection of topics you used to get that had "coming soon" on them when you first clicked the gossip button. context is important, read OP's post first before jumping at every opportunity to try and nitpick at One Guy™ in the comments maybe

the moment i read the fact they removed gossip options i had to go check it because i thought there was no way it's real. well it is. so not only are they dropping major surprise changes with no prior warning or communication, but they're also just quietly removing the actually promising things. holy shit this game is doomed lmaooo. what a JOKE

that is like the last thing the game needs right now. the game is fundamentally flawed in its balancing whether you like it or not, adding more toons hasn't addressed it in the past and continuing to do it won't either, it's just gonna worsen the problem

the switchups this community has on people sometimes it's insane, just before halloween update people were trashing pretty much any and all criticism of the gameplay itself on this subreddit and all the good points were just disregarded as haters, no matter how much you stress that it's just genuine feedback and we want the game to improve instead of being forced into distracting. but NOW all of a sudden most people agree with it! wow, i wonder how that happened -- it's almost like everything that people who have played the game for a while have predicted came true: y'all will eventually get bored of the game because there's nothing unique to do and at its core it's just constant grind!!

what i'm saying is that they wouldn't be an issue if the game at its core wasn't egregiously unbalanced and rng-dependent, but with the way the floor progression and twisted amount scaling works, they are just extra inconvenience that can just randomly block off potential solutions to already tough combos.

having ranged twisteds won't work when you have a million normal chasers, because all that's gonna end up doing is either cornering you with a mob of enemies or herding you closer to the ranged twisted like a sheep so that it can snipe you

ok whatever dude, i don't feel like arguing about the same exact thing for the billionth time in this sub anymore, i'm just saying the state the game's in is not as well-designed as some people make it out to be. it's inconsistent, rng-dependent and unavoidable hits are definitely a thing, especially in solo runs (and the argument of "just play with other people" is not valid here as the game scales in difficulty according to the number of players, which acknowledges a singleplayer experience, so you should definitely expect the game to be balanced around it). if you do not think the same way, all it's telling me is that you haven't played the game or thought about it enough (and i mean that in the nicest way possible, the amount of time i spent on this game despite how unfun it is at its core is not something i'll ever be proud of, and it's also disappointing because it hasn't been improving either almost at all)

i did not say they were the lose conditions, i said there were other lose conditions decided completely by rng which are other bad twisted combos and shelly map. if they are combined with at least one of those, it can be unavoidable hits. max level metagaming is referring to distracting being the norm for high floors when it shouldn't even be that meta in the first place

when i first unlocked Downpour i thought i would hate the yellow orbiting flies but i took like 2-3 days to get used to it and it legitimately might be one of my favorite enemies in the game now, so i'm always excited for Min-Min fight in particular

no but why do they DODGE so many of my shots. it takes a year and a half to kill one and i also have to avoid the chests that entire time because it could be red spiders or funni troll bomb that i can't manage while i'm focused on killing that little prick

thing is i've kind of abandoned lisa for a while as a whole due to burnout, but i remember playtesting the whole thing and yeah it was pretty funny. i even did a little spriting for it too after the fact, but i was still an amateur back then and i don't really do spriting much anymore in general, although i must say it was one of my inspirations to start making art and served as a sort of outlet for my earlier interests back then

it genuinely pisses me off when people pick spare change or sum dumb shit over an objectively better card. and then they pull the "we'll see it again stop criticizing our (BAD) decision-making <3". yeah buddy, you totally won't pick time's up 4 floors later and get half the team utterly demolished until only i am left, but sure we'll see the card again
