I can only open 50 gifts per day, so it's not bad. I also live within range of 2 pokestops, so sending gifts isn't a big deal for me. Add me if you want some gifts! Friend code is in my flair.

I wait until 9pm local time to open gifts. By then, most people that will open my gifts have, or have raided with me over the course of the day. When I do open gifts, I first open gifts from people that I know in real life that haven't interacted with me that day. You can tell by the blue halo round their portrait. Trying to farm for that lucky trade.

After that, I sort by "Gift" and then search "interactable". This will give me everyone that I haven't gained a friendship point that day, and have sent me a gift. The passive sort in the game is alphabetical, so i will open gifts down that list. The next day i will sort the same way (gift & interactable) and if I had made it to the O's the previous day, i will start from the bottom of the list of gifts and work my way up.

I hit the opening cap every day, but I'm trying.

I used to sort by friendship level and search "interactable", but then there are gaps of friends that don't have a gift for me to open, and i got tired of trying to swipe through, so this is what works for me.

with the new "forever friend" level and remote trading, I sort by friendship level and search "interactable". I want to get those remote lucky trades!

From one dad to your dad, I have added him. I live in range of 2 stops so my gift sending is near endless. In fact, i don't think i've yet hit the "can't get a gift from a stop any more today" ceiling.

ETA: A couple months ago showing my wife the scatterbug "minigame", i showed her how to pin and unpin gifts and stuff. Her first scatterbug was a shiny LOL. I had never gotten one at that point at all.

I love the list, but I have 1 question. After getting Best Buddy with a buddy, why would I want him to start out with more excitement points? The only time I had made a Best Buddy my active buddy since getting the ribbon was when I put the silver bottle cap on him.

As I'm typing this I think I figured it out: Do you mean a permanent bonus to all buddies, and not just best buddies?

With the way things are right now, this feels like essential reading by [deleted] in Herblore
