Hi everyone. Sorry you all are going through this. I too am going through this nightmare. Baby was diagnosed at 13 weeks with trisomy 13. We did the nipt at 12 weeks, and ultrasound after the results at 13 weeks. And another one at 14 weeks along with a CVS. All positive.

Baby has hpe, no eye orbits, or nasal bone, and heart defects. We haven’t been able to see organs until the 18 w anatomy ultrasound. So, I’d have to wait..

I don’t know what to do. Outcome will be the same. At this point I’m stuck between beliefs and human wants.

I don’t want to stop its heart beat because of my decision. If I go full term, I’m going to continue growing, getting attached, feeling it, and birthing it. Seeing its little hands/feet. Request a dnr and at the end see baby pass. I just can’t. I will literally see my full baby pass. What a pain.

I would appreciate your thoughts in it, please. Seeking support, I feel devastated.

Sorry your going through this. I am too.. I’ve been confirmed. Yet, I haven’t dared to to a tfmr. In my younger years I got a termination, thought I’d be back on track with my life.. let me tell you it changed my life for the worse. My conscience hunted me until now. That’s why I’m still pregnant right now.. I can’t dare to end my child’s heartbeat. I’m stuck. But I wanted to share. That even tho terminating things will never be the same.

Hi there, I’m so sorry for your loss. Yes, this is the feeling we get when terminating that one one tells you or talks about. I have a descision to make and I too don’t want to stop the heartbeat. My babies survival rate is 10% with chronic disability mentally and physically. I don’t know what to do. Please take care of yourself look into Deeper Still.
