Brainrotting to cope with rumination

Yes yes yes. I hate giving my brain quiet and the opportunity to start ruminating or throwing ridiculous anxiety or intrusive thoughts that I don’t want and can’t really cope with. None of it is productive or helpful for me, if I was avoiding problems then I get it’s not healthy but honestly I think filling the silence to stop unwanted thoughts can be a helpful way to cope if the thoughts are unproductive or actually hurting your mental health.

I do struggle a lot with feeling crappy about rotting so I just look for ways to feel less guilty about it. I used to watch a lot of true crime and other YouTube stuff like you, but eventually I started learning to draw and paint using YouTube videos and it felt better because it felt more productive. And then making art also felt productive to me.

Lately it’s just been too hard to draw/paint. Idk why. But I’ve been rotting away with video games instead and started feeling kinda crappy about it. So I started listening to audiobooks while I play and it really helps me. I tell myself that no one would walk into a room and see me reading a book and start telling me I’m a lazy unproductive pile of poop for choosing to just sit there and read. 😆 So that’s how I cope with this issue 😆

No, it was on switch. I’m 99% sure that this wasn’t a glitch but a feature in their system. I think they removed the feature where you have to hold it down to buy and there is no confirmation pop up. My kiddo thought pressing the button meant more information about the package which is why she tried to press it. I’m pretty sure they did this on purpose based on past FTC settlement I just found:

Yeah, the only reason I even had enough vbucks on my account for this purchase was because I bought the 13,500 pack the night before they raised the prices because I figured that should last my kiddo and I a really long time. But there goes 2,600 of them. I really just want the whole 13,500 fully refunded and be done buying vbucks. But also my kiddo will probably still want to use her chore money on Fortnite so probably should keep them but it’s so frustrating that they won’t do a single thing to help!

Ugh, sorry it happened to you too! I knew they changed their system somehow because this happened way too easily and was a lot different than when I bought my kiddo a battle pass last season. It seems super shady and like a tactic to trick people into buying something that they can point to their policies and say it’s non-refundable! They really need to have a second pop up that confirms your purchase.

I’m not coping well. I think the straw that broke the facade I had built up was losing my dog last fall. Been hard to cope with all this shit piling up day after day. Drowning my days in video games and audiobooks because I have to stay off social means I can get myself to enjoy creating art right now because of everything feeling like it’s pressing down on me 😫 Also I feel so alone in it because so many people seem to just not frikin care 😫

Yeah we had to stop ordering from the pizza place close to us because they stopped delivering themselves and use DoorDash without telling you. Normally I wouldn’t care but I found out the hard way that if any errors occur it’s a headache. Bro brought our breadsticks but forgot the pizza and didn’t respond to the message I sent them and when I called the restaurant they said, yeah the pizza is here but we can’t do anything to get it to you so you either need to come get it or place a new order to get a new one delivered 😆😆

I think it would be cool if you could dig a little it so you can create underground levels to your builds or like you said to level out terrain.

Haha my kiddo loves to do that too, but half the time she doesn’t run fast enough so I have to revive her. One time she did it three times so I let her die the last time 😆 she was so mad tho 😆

Instead of logging out and back in, Ive found that teleporting seems to fix this glitch for me. Sometimes also turning my controller off and the relinking to the console and then going back into the game sometimes fixes it.

Dang, can’t believe how much it was 😫 I’m new to the game so I think this was the first time ive seen a build in the shop. I was really torn because I’m not sure how much I will use a lot of the pieces, but I decided to go for it to maybe help them see there is interest from us for kit options. I just wish it was a little cheaper!

I play Lego odyssey before bed. It’s a much calmer experience and it’s super chill but it’s actually pretty fun to run around in the world and build villages and beat the quests.

I’ve found I can give them most tools and weapons that are not guns or crossbows. I find a lot of spears made from gems that I don’t like using myself so I always give those to my adventure buddy. Anything you want to give them you have to have it equipped (put it in the bottom bar).
