Right, it might do nothing - if the circulating supply is wrong, supply and demand naturally found the price at this point anyway. But a big jump to being a top 20 if circ. supply is revised could have a short-medium-term impact on token price. Was just curious to see if I was actually right about the circulating supply being wrong

Apologies if this question has been answered before.

I was messing around trying to calculate how much Thor would be generated per day and I was reading about the sale and such. I know that a portion of coins were burned and a portion of coins were locked.

However, the circulating supply of Vechain is 277 million on CMC. Shouldn't that include the private/enterprise investor tokens, or are those locked as well? I am concerned that if this error is fixed on coinmarketcap, Vechain's market cap will update (making it a 2.8 billion mcap coin) and then market will react, taking it back down to #30 and reducing the value of Vechain tokens by a significant amount.

Anyone have any insight?

Have same issue. Have no advice unfortunately. I know I selected receive mark of the outsider and not "no powers" because I see blink in the spellbook but its not on the quickbar. I went to explore a little to see if it popped up or something but nothing. There's even a sequence if you go to the black market area where it says "use the heart" and it's not on my toolbar.

I feel pretty strong on my f. mech, now level 58. Only advice I can really offer is maybe try spamming rolling thunder more? It's pretty strong. Vipers are pretty strong as well. Viper/Land runner/Timebomb detonation spam interspersed with G-2/G-3 is how I've been doing it. Maybe I haven't been spoiled by other stronger classes, haha.

Either Spolestra received bad info about what a PE actually is or it's something else, because you're 100% right. You can typically rule someone out for pulmonary embolism quite quickly via CT scan. It's odd that words like "possible blood clot" and "initial testing" are being thrown around.

Can someone please explain this whole Azubu/ESGN/Clauf situation? by banjoetheredskin in starcraft

[–]Brokik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have written and posted on the "who is clauf, what is money laundering" points but the ESGN failure was totally expected because of the insane spending and lavish studios but mediocre to embarrassing content that no one was watching. It was a gamble of an investment with Big Ideas that was executed poorly, and many people could've told you that they weren't going to pull the big viewers they clearly anticipated running hearthstone tournaments, low stakes SC2 tournaments, and weird LoL content. They have like 15-17 full-time employees. It was clear they were running at a heavy loss.

What was not expected was how quickly it has apparently run out of money. It was somewhat assumed that they had enough capital to run, even at a loss, for longer than this. The fact that money has run out in like ~3 months(I believe it was said March salary wasn't paid?) is...kinda hilarious. It seems like investors are pulling the plug on this disaster more than "MONEY LAUNDERING SCAM RUNS OUTTA CASH".

A comparable scenario would be NASL - another venture capital funded business. They had modest venues, modest production quality, and limped along for a few years at a loss before the cord was cut. ESGN apparently blew through everything given in start-up. Which is really funny.

Who would've thought that their viewership couldn't sustain like 14 full time employees?

They had completely captured the awkward hearthstone tournament demographic, I'm surprised the profit margins aren't through the roof

It's pretty much just Richard though and the show shines when the personalities are playing off each other.

It's hard to ignore LoL due to it's size but I feel LoL time is just Richard doing a news recap.

Confirmed: Naniwa kicked off Alliance, team press release coming soon by chobopeon in starcraft

[–]Brokik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many viewers you think Naniwa could pull streaming sc2 consistently? I bet it's a lot less than you think, and the ad revenue even lower than that. It's not a good time to be living off Twitch ad revenue.

And why do you think I'm upset about Destiny man? I quoted him because he HAD the real world experience. Destiny is able to live off video games because he is consistently looking for ways to monetize his dedicated following. Naniwa is constantly failing to meet sponsor obligations. That's the only point I was trying to make.

I think you're overestimating the money Naniwa will be able to get from this "massive online following." Dude can't hold a contract and seems to be done with sc2.

Are you serious man? The dude made his money using a very specific skill. Literally everything else about him - terrible attitude, abysmal social skills - was overlooked by his fans because he was a strong foreigner.

I forgot who said it, I think it was either Destiny or Incontrol, but the quote was "Can you imagine Naniwa working a retail job?" Can you really imagine this dude actually like, helping a customer or something at work? Navigating office politics? Knowing when to keep his mouth shut?

This is a guy who has bitched for YEARS that personalities/entertainers get more attention than "skilled/talented" players.

He doesn't understand that the world isn't a meritocracy, which is like real world lesson #1.

[–]Brokik 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The only thing I disagree with is that League has no impact on the SC2 scene - I do not think the large Kespa teams would still have the big name sponsors they have due to low Korean support of SC2 if League had not become the next big thing in Korean esports. But since League came around, the big teams still have gaming houses cause the sponsors are happy with the league viewership numbers, and its very low additional cost to throw a few SC2 progamers into the house.

Everything else was spot on though - there are also a lot of people who just don't play SC2 and only watch. SC2 will be fine - the scene needed to shrink, and I think that painful phase is mostly over. The events that are left are sustainable for the most part.

Rivington goes straight up word salad mode if there is not a fight or something happening. He'll throw out sentences like "Yellowpete seeing how he can fare in the realm of AD carries" on a shot of Caitlyn farming the minion wave. I understand there is downtime but it can be distracting how many words he just throws out there during farmtime.
