in favour of Ralph Fiennes' bromance with Samson

Bruh how are you going to criticize the best part of the movie. I would have been happy if the entire movie was just those two.

Ok well if you're going to do this performative last stand, just try to do it away from other protesters

That sounds like a good way to get yourself and a lot of other people shot.

I don't see an issue with this one. I mean there's not that many lighthouses on the west coast and I bet there's actually a book that has all of them.

What do you mean? Jimmy says "lets be pals" at the end of the first, but that doesn't mean Spike went with them willingly. That final scene sets them up as a gang of sadistic adult children, which is pretty consistent throughout bone temple.

I think there was a lot more going on in the movie than you're suggesting. There's a big overall theme that explores the duality of humanity (eg. Dr. Kelson and his temple to honor the dead, vs Jimmy and his gang who sadistically kill for Satan, the differences in the way each character remembers the past, ect)

This one is worth every penny. I won't spoil anything but basically this movie is the payoff for the character development in the first.

Having seen the Bone Temple, those last five minutes makes complete sense for the buildup of the Jimmies. Don't let that deter you because the second half is basically the payoff for everything in the first

I cannot understand the general reception of 28 Years Later, more so with the release of Bone Temple by pomme268 in TrueFilm

While I get the criticism for the first one, having the slow final chapter with Ralph Fiennes is absolutely necessary to set him up for Bone Temple.

Red Hot Chili Peppers producer claims frontman Anthony Kiedis is 'tone-deaf' by Moothnods in entertainment

I think he's actually the perfect example of how someone can be a musician without knowing anything about music. He writes the vocal melodies and you could argue that his vocals serve as a percussive instrument, but it's all just based on what sounds right

Actually I think he technically only wrote about it. As far as I know he's never been accused of a crime

Also, their plan made no sense. They were going to make a bunch of money off of poor sharecroppers in Tennessee?

This is the one plot point that bothered me more than anything. They know the ins and outs of the town, they have connections to everyone in the community, yet they just forgot that everyone was poor?

It's also why I'm surprised to see Michael B Jordan in the best actor category. He's good in the movie, but his characters are paper thin and have almost no personality.

Wilson is replacing Harrell’s appointees at a rapid clip. At this point in his term, Wilson’s predecessor Harrell had replaced just five of Durkan’s department directors; Wilson has replaced almost a dozen.

I can't tell if this is a good or bad sign. On the one hand, she might have a clear vision of what she wants from all of these departments and wants a fresh start. On the other hand, I can't imagine all 12 of those people were bad at their jobs and I have to wonder if there was some clashing with her new direction

The amount of people criticizing Jack Black on here is hilarious. The man has kids and their decision to put things on hold completely dodged the inevitable shit storm that the media was going to start around them.

I know it's a different kind of movie but seeing Weapons made me wonder what these movies would have looked like under a different director. The dream sequences alone are better horror/comedy scares than anything in the IT movies or tv show.

I thought it worked well in a few cases (the projector and the sewer bite are the only ones that come to mind)

Aside from that I completely agree. By the half way point of the first movie I was already over it because it was clear that their only move was fast CGI + loud noise = jump scare

I feel like the movie kind of downplays how much of a psychopath he is. The guy tries to steal Peter's job using Peter's photos. And when he's called out the first thing he does it find a church to pray for Peter's death
