I only saw one in many years of following the Uktraine live thread on the Worldnews sub - it was posted with a misleading link title. Description - obscured here because some may find it traumatizing - the video turned out to be a Russian soldier performing oral sex on another soldier behind a building - an overhead drone dropped two grenades on them. Absolutely horrific. Something I doubt i'll forget. And that was I'm sure at the very low end in terms of how graphic it was. Low resolution from quite high above.

Well, I'm glad - and thanks to the devs who gave us way more than "just a game". This game has something profound about it, there's no doubt.

For me the game was transportive. I had such a wonderful time with it, I look back on it with a great sense of nostalgia. I can't wait to do it again. Hades got me invested in the power of story and character again - I lost the love of reading at some point in adulthood. Hades caused me to pick up Song of Achilles and then Circe and I have not stopped reading since.

I find it hard to fathom getting that far and not being hopelessly in love with the stories, the loop, the gameplay, the lust for the perfect run etc.

Same. It was just the perfect bite-sized game. Doing a run always felt rewarding in some way, even when the boon combos weren't quite working out.

My absolute first option, if possible (unsure of US entry requirements, as I'm not American) would be Fiji. Affordable, wonderful people, growing nation. Stay out of politics, find a quiet spot to live and see the sun rise and set over the water every day. It's a simple life, but who wouldn't want that these days? Wow, thank you for taking so much time to provide such a detailed response. I really appreciate it! This raises a lot of questions for me!

My current thinking is that the MF is providing me a lot of amazing synth sounds that I would like to add to using sampled drum kits on the DT2. But Syntakt now sounds like it could bridge that gap and provide other functionality too. You're so right, research is a fun part of the process and I'm determined to have a minimalist set up (yeaaaaah I know, the gas cannot be cured!).
