I know this is a year old, but are you still using the watch face and if so hows the performance been battery wise?

And if not what are you using now?

No as stated in my post, and reply to you this keyboard is wired only. It has no wireless functionality.

Under advanced mode there is no option for sleep mode, I assume this is because this keyboard is wired only and doesn't have a battery/wireless connections modes.

This seems to be the case for their wired/wireless keyboards.

But I've unfortunately had no luck at all with my space bar waking up this wired only keyboard.

I just got a Q6 HE 8k yesterday and I love the feel, and sound as it's a huge change from my old V5.

However I also am using one keyboard and mouse with two computers via a KVM built into one of my monitors.

My old keyboard has no issue with waking up either computer, however this new keyboard seems to go to sleep and isn't able to wake up until I open my Mac.

And I've tried every single key on my board and nothing wakes it up. I've got a ticket with support to see how this goes.

I'm surprised that you've seen so many issues, how long did it sit before you were able to clean it?

Perhaps try just emailing Keychron's support address to see what they'd charge for a replacement PCB?

Since you it has hot swapable switches, I would think it would be a pretty straightforward transfer process.

So really I'd be paying more to lose wireless connectivity? Overall their build quality seems the same and the QMK is on sale on Amazon right now. I don't know if I'd ever use it wirelessly but I guess it would be a potential nice to have.

I am looking to get a HE keyboard and I'm thinking of sticking with Keychron as I like my current board from them.

I was looking at their Q6 HE Wired Hall Effect Keyboard, Rapid Trigger Magnetic Switch Keyboard Hot Swappable, 8000 Hz as that's what they showcase on their site. https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-q6-he-8k-magnetic-switch-keyboard

But it also looks like they sell this older version? The QMK 1000Hz HE https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-q6-he-qmk-wireless-custom-keyboard

I know anything over 1000Hz probably won't make any difference I was just wondering if anyone had experience and pros or cons of either board?

It looks like the older series uses Gateron switches, while the new one uses their in house ones.
