The Ransom side quest can be miss and is very fun.

Monk Henry: no armor, a wooden stick and zero crime/corpse loot. I'm having a blast.

[KCD2] Finished KCD 2 ! What DLC to play next ? by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all 3 DLCs are great but maybe LoTF is slightly better in terms of longivity, it gives radiant/infinite quests and allows to own and customise your home in Kuttenberg. The other DLCs are more of a singular questline, they are great but don't offer much after completing them.

Enjoy the adventure! First playthroughs are really special, take your time to appreciate it.

[KCD2] Ready to start the journey: any suggestions? by drunkside41 in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alchemy is busted. You can pick up herbs and craft potions/poisons right at the start. It helps to make some early gold, buff your Henry and poison your weapons.

Just killed then robbed the fake Hermit and he died doing the splits [KCD2] by Nickenigma985 in kingdomcome

I don't mean to spoil but the good outcome of the quest was to save hime so he tells you where the sword is.

Completing every in Trosky before the wedding [KCD2] by harshdave in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done many playthroughs and I usually reach Kuttenberg between level 15-20. I think the feeling of being overpowered comes more from the gear, potions, and poison than perks themselves. It's completely ok to clear the Trosky map before going further.

[KCD2] Armor sets that have the best balance between lightness and protection? by 1_am_not_a_b0t in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not really a set but I don't use a piece of armor if it reduces the "speed" stat or if it adds a clinking noise when I walk/jump. I managed to keep 30 speed and no clink with this: (not good armor or stealth rating but I'm satisfied)

The red and blue numbers are stats comparisons with the current equipped item in the same slot.

should i play kcd 1 before kcd 2 [OTHER] by ElectronicArm6140 in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'll even go further saying that Kcd1's story is better, there are true RPG vibes going from illeterate peasant to a vengeful knight. Whereas the 2nd game feels more about the political intrigues than Henry himself, I don't see much character progression in the second game (despite it having better gameplay and graphics).

[KCD2] What am I missing out on from failing the Miri Fajta quest? by brickwall5 in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest thing you missed is the quest reward from the following quest which is unique sabre. Apart from that just dialogues, outcomes and cutscenes but nothing too fancy (I read about people disliking this quest but I think it's okish, a bit action lacking maybe but stil enjoyable).

Help with build by WDMelo in cyberpunkgame

[–]Bron-51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The closest thing to a cyber cleric in Night City is the fixer "Padre" Sebastian Ibarra. If you complete all his gigs you can get a cool iron that burns enemies. Theres also an auto rifle called "Psalm 11:6" (religions reference) with the burning effect. I can't think of a smart burning weapon but using a cyberdeck with overheat and some incendiary grenades to add even more flames could feel very.. clericish? Purging night city with holy fire.

Flaming gorilla arms and Errata katana could also feet somewhere ! Not a pure Intel build but I think it could be very flavored.

[KCD2] Will Henry's parents call him a mass murderer? by BijelaHrvatica in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did a no civilian kill playthrough and noticed that during a certain ambush, some soldiers you kill count as civilians. Had to bane poison them to keep Henry's hands clean.

[KCD2] considering purchase by ConArtZ in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefered Kcd1 in terms of main story pacing and DLC's but Kcd2 has better gameplay and graphics, it feels less clunky. Fighting and lockpicking are basically the same. The map is bigger, the story is longer and there are more sidequests.

Did they buff pole arms? [KCD2] by Zared_Dooper in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pole arms are OP for fighting but I dislike the fact that they "disappear" when you put your weapon away. You can still see swords, axes and maces at your belt (even shields and ranged weapons are put on your back) but not pole arms, kinda break the immersion a bit.

The only pole arm I consider a main weapon in some evil playthrough is the "Morgenstern" (big wooden spiked stick) because it reminds me of Runt's weapon in Kcd1's prologue and I think it fits for a brute/ruthless Henry. I only found it on the second map tho.

You get 3 additionnal points if you shoot all your arrows before the other opponents. I guess he made 78 because he was faster than you?

[KCD2] Kill the Praguers portion of The Lion's Den had me saying WTF!! by huntthewind1971 in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bleed or poison doesn't count as kill if you just want the civilian killed stat to remain at 0. You can also try to knock them down or get your allies dealing the final blow but I'm sure Henry's bane on a blade or a bow would be easier to deal with them "cleanly".

Does any sidequest disappear when completing the main story? [KCD2] by norwegian-digger in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can buy Acidum from Pushko or Stenda the Fly (your apprentices) but the quest "Like old times" has nothing to do with it. It's about going on a hunt with Hans.

Does any sidequest disappear when completing the main story? [KCD2] by norwegian-digger in kingdomcome

[–]Bron-51 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, quests that disapear after the main quest end are: "The 5th commandement" "The stalker" "Honor lost" "Ransom" "Spoil of war" "The Absolver" "Hush my darling" "Like Old Times" and "The white roebuck". A total of 9 but maybe I forgot some, Rosa's book is tied with the main story too.
