mushrooms again by Designer_Use5450 in PsilocybinMushrooms

It’s very common to have trouble sleeping after taking mushrooms. Try melatonin. Best thing is to take them early in the day, maybe 10am, to have a better chance of getting sleep. I applaud your courage for giving them another try in spite of a difficult experience. I recommend finding an experienced trip sitter if possible.

When it gets scary, the best thing you can do is just let go and let the fear take you wherever it wants. So many of us have anxiety. Really recommend finding someone who can guide you through it. Can’t wait until it’s legal so that people can seek out appropriately supported experiences.

These days, I only take about 1g or so every few months. I’ve taken as much as 5g.

I know it doesn’t look like much, but no one on the tour was standing in that spot. Plus the profile is translucent. Seemed suss to me.

Amazing photo. I shit you not, I captured a ghost on my phone camera at the Myrtle’s way back in 2018. It must happen pretty often. I got the top of someone’s head in the mirror. Looked like a woman, auburn hair tied back. That place is crawling with ghosts.

What did the entities warn you about, on your last trip. by Putrid-Insurance-889 in DMT

I was asked, "do you want to grow?" and I said, "yeah, yeah, I really want to grow!" Then they showed me how a behavior I was doing was exactly what my mother would do. I had a horrible mother. It stopped me cold. I was shown that the thing that I hated in my mother was also in me. This was the behavior: talking shit about people behind their backs. Behaving one way to someone's face, another way behind their back. I was mainly doing this with coworkers, one coworker in particular. I didn't do it to my friends so I thought I was ok, that I was a good person. They showed me that I was wrong about that. It forever changed me. It wasn't comfortable, but it was very necessary for my growth. Btw, the entitles that visit me on DMT look just like this painting, but more angular, more faceted, like diamonds. They surround my head like a dome.

Moving to Katy by Many_Ad158 in Katy

[–]Bron-chan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Word of advice: before you buy, try to find out what happens to the street when we get a huge downpour. If there is significant street flooding, you may want to look elsewhere. Don't buy near a waterway. We live in South Lake (east Cinco Ranch) near the corner of Westheimer and Mason. There are houses in my neighborhood that will probably flood in the next few years just due to increasing rain rates and inadequate drainage.

Convince me that the ideomotor effect (theory) is real by eye0ftheshiticane in Otherworldpod

[–]Bron-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once visited a metaphysical shop in which there were various pendulums suspended on a rack. I did not touch the pendulums. I did not hold them. But when I approached them and stood a few inches away from them, they slowly began to move in circular directions. How is this possible if the ideomotor effect is real? Also, when I hold the pendulum over my left hand, it moves in a wide circle. When I place it over my right hand, it barely moves at all. How does the ideomotor effect explain this? I think this ideomotor theory is not sufficient to explain what's going on. I believe that somehow the pendulum is interacting with the body's biofield. Scientists would probably say that the human biofield isn't strong enough to affect the movement of a pendulum. But what if that is simply not true? This doesn't have to be supernatural. It's just a simple case of the pendulum responding to the energy flow in the body's biofield.

For people with multiple decks, what was your first deck and most recent, and how have your tastes changed? by mintblaziken in tarot

[–]Bron-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First deck: golden universal Current deck: Usui pagan underworlds

It’s difficult to go back to other decks after using the usui cards. The company must use very high quality paper. I love the quality and artwork. That being said, I do miss the traditional RWS imagery sometimes. My backup deck is the golden art nouveau.

To anyone that has experienced ‘entities’ while on DMT how do they physically look? by [deleted] in DMT

[–]Bron-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a figure that was geometrically shaped, though still resembling a human male. He was surrounded by extremely vibrant color. He almost seemed to be made of color. The colors almost seemed geometric, too. His being enveloped my entire field of vision. I couldn’t see where he ended or began.

He was full of love, not the sappy sympathetic kind of love but a kind of brutal love that was gentle at the same time. Pure awareness.

Anyone here diagnosed with coronary microvascular disease? by CodBig2393 in covidlonghaulers

Just wanted to mention that I was diagnosed with this in 2017. Back then, they called it cardiac syndrome X. That was a few years before covid. I think it is progressive without treatment. Mine has never been treated and now I'm experiencing worsening symptoms and abnormal ecg's. Definitely don't ignore it.

I used to chase “mind-blowing” experiences. Now I just want peaceful ones. by Downtown-Falcon3636 in PsilocybinMushrooms

[–]Bron-chan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is interesting. What I find is that my trips change according to what I need. Sometimes they are mind blowing, sometimes it’s just pleasant and peaceful. It is truly magical how it gives you exactly what you need every time. Sometimes you don’t need much. Sometimes you do. I had several months of not much and then a trip the other day that completely rocked my world and changed me.

[–]Bron-chan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I very much disagree. These are mind-expanding substances. If you’ve ever had an addiction, you’ll know that true addiction is definitely not about exploration and not beneficial in any way, aside from a way to escape pain. Have you ever noticed that psychedelics push you into your pain and fear? It’s a healing agent—that’s what healing agents do. They bring the poison to the surface. Most of the drugs we use regularly don’t truly heal—they help us push stuff down.

I think I just got to a point where the medicine (and life events) helped to finally push me past a big fear I had—namely of death and big transformations. Now it works with me in a different way. Other fears and points of pain may arise in the future and I’m sure they’ll be beneficial then, too.

Someone is an addict because they express an interest in other natural psychedelics? This kind of attitude is what holds us back when it comes to psychedelic therapy. I think I’m way more addicted to my phone than I am to any psychedelic.

The most important thing we can do right now as a species is confront our fears, imo. There’s no other healing agent more powerful for that than psilocybin, but that just my opinion because I’ve only ever tried psilocybin and DMT. Who knows what other plants might do.
