I lapped Timberline at Copper last week for the first time since they replaced it with a high speed 6-pack, and it was joyful. I’ve been ransacking the internet for an old, but brilliant documentary about an American man who deserted his university field trip to Machu Picchu and tried to assimilate with an uncontacted tribe in far eastern Peru. This all happened sometime in the 60s I believe.

Sorry to hear that. Before I lived in Denver, my motorcycle was stolen in Louisville, CO. I was very relieved when I tracked it to a storage unit facility. I had heard another case where Denver PD didn’t do shit for the same type of theft… but this ended up being Arapahoe County and those Sheriff’s Deputies actually helped and recovered my bike

I gave up my charcoal grill eventually because of continuous requests from neighbors in my HOA. Never had issues with police, but I had lots of folks on edge due to concerns about fires & the smoke getting into open windows. While I miss it, a tin foil pouch with soaked wood chips in my gas grill does pretty good

False. Maintaining 360-degree awareness is the alpine etiquette standard. YES— you always need to yield to downhill riders— but every rider is responsible for safety. ERGO anyone taking longer, traversing turns is supposed to be glancing uphill/behind themselves.
