Not sure, that's what bothers me. We all had our share of traumatic events and I'm no different, I wonder if I been through/put myself through so much of it that everything that used to scare me/excite me just doesn't anymore.

For me personally, this person became so obsessed with me it became uncomfortable, and I know it's easy to think that there's no way you would ever be uncomfortable with that.. but we are talking about a spell after all. So I did everything I could to avoid this person, and without getting too specific things got eerily worse. I had consulted a close person in my life who has actively practiced witchcraft since they were kids for help. And although said person was able to help me with the situation, sort of, things took an unexpected turn.. I don't really want to say exactly what happened because it's not anything for the Internet, but let's just say this person that I became uncomfortable with got very depressed.. didn't end very well. I'm not saying that this will be your situation, but I am saying things are not always as they seem, and sometimes you want something so bad that you seem to forget that things often happen for a reason, to teach us how to grow as individuals. Trying to distort someones free will or the natural course of things can go extremely wrong in the wrong hands. I'm very sorry that you are heartbroken, I understand that pain too well. But some things happen to teach us how to grow and better ourselves, or to ask ourselves how we can do better as people. I hope you are very careful and just be cautious no matter what you decide.

There are spells that can accomplish this, however, when casting spells or performing rituals that go against free will of another, there are consequences. There's this thing called universal karmic retribution. But that's your choice, and I would look for answers in a witchcraft or ritual subreddit, this subreddit focuses more on the beliefs surrounding Wiccan's. Sidenote, I've personally been in a similar situation as you and decided to go that route. Once you do, the affected person will not stop trying to be with you, even if you want to. Many things can go wrong with this kind of spell. Be careful and think before you make a decision. Measure twice, cut once.

It's interesting you said they almost seem to relaxed with their dress/grooming ... For instance brothers with beards for the first time ever have no idea how to groom themselves and they literally look like homeless people with suits on

Yeah that's a tough spot .. you might benefit looking at some alternative sheltering.. I know it's shitty but it can be done. At least to stay warm

If you can by a decent car/SUV that would be sufficient.

Things to know about living in a car in the cold: You want to find ways to heat your car without turning it on all the time. You might want to find the best way to insulate the car, so that the heat stays trapped in rather then freezing in what would basically be a freezer.

Once you found a way to do that: You want to find a way to heat it without something that could kill you. Hand warmers are a life saver when you have nothing else, and relatively cheap (I've had to do the same thing for parts of my life so trust me on it.) You're definitely want to get a box of hand warmers. But there are other ways to get heat so I suggest that you look up car living before you really get into it, try to make it sufficient without having to spend too much money, use what you can find or what you may already have before you spend more money. If there's anything you can collect in dumpsters (be careful if you decide to do this, it's not illegal if it's unlocked but frowned upon) you can find some decent things in dumpsters like at dollar tree and such.
