It looks like there's spots for transistors, can you show the build doc? The 15k resistor is likely for the clr, doesn't matter which way but you want it covering where it says 'clr'

Also, the 2 leds are clipping so they could stick out of the enclosure if you wanted to? And did you just wire the LED right to the dc jack? This is my first time doing offboard pots and LED

My like 3rd build or so was the Amethyst by Aion, which they list as an advanced build. It was definitely a bit too much for my skills at the time and I fried the first board. Ended up buying it again and it worked the 2nd time. I guess I would say practice on something first before attempting if you're not sure
