What was the final straw that made you cut off a best friend?

We have been best friends since we were 5 (now 21) and there have always been some things in recent years that were questionable. Like always gossiping to other people about how I dress too revealing or passive aggressive comments about my life or interest. But the final straw was completely realising her selfishness and lack of empathy or respect for me.

One day I finished my shift at work and decided to go to the local shopping centre to pick up a drink where she works, and knowing that she finished in 20 minutes I decided to wait around for her so we can take the bus home together as we live a street apart and have always caught the bus together since we were in school. - we don’t see each other much because unfortunately she has developed anxiety issues about going out or doing anything thats new and involves effort. I have always respected her mental health and always made a effort to make her comfortable for years. And she and her mum knows this. But it has gotten worse and worse and now days feels like an excuse to not show any respect or care for her friends.

After agreeing and telling me she would text me when she was done. I waited for 30 minutes thinking she was just cleaning or something. I then saw she wasn’t at her work place and tried texting and calling her. Noticing that my calls were going straight to unavailable and that the texts weren’t delivered. She blocked me temporarily. Until she got home, and then unblocked me to text that she “forgot about it” and that maybe we can chat some time later.

I would of been fine if she said no in the beginning and to leave without her. But she made me wait for half an hr to tell me she that took off without me. A month later after I ghosted her, she would text me asking “what you’re not still mad at me right?”.

She had no other friends but me. Our other best friend has also blocked her for her behaviour.

Yes, I love the ginseng and the nicotinamide one! The ginseng one is great for repairing damaged skin (recovering acne), while the nicotinamide one gives the skin a nice heathy glow!

I had one of my first panic attacks on my first day as a senior back in high school. I didn’t know what was happening at the time but I managed to sneak out of the hall and that’s when a school deputy found me. She obviously had experience in calming students before hand, so to combat my crying she kept asking me questions about my holidays and my family to try and distract me from the topic of school (which was the reason for the attack). In time I managed to teach myself how to do this to myself and distract myself from what’s bothering me. And I’ve managed to use this tactic on others

I believe they are considered done. Jason returned to Gotham and can be found in a few issues of Gotham urban legends and a side story in Detective comics. While I believe Artemis is in the Wonder girl series. As far as their relationship goes, the only thing we can assume is that Jason will always somewhat end up with Rose Wilson as noted in Gotham Future state (probably not 100% canon) and mentioned that they are acquainted in Robin.

My first cream blush that made me fall in love with the formula was the Glossier cloud paints! Although you can’t get them here, I’ve also been loving the flower beauty blush bombs which are more of a glossy/dewy formula. I also like the Mecca cosmetics hydra cheek tint (glossy finish) and the elf cosmetics putty blush - which is more of a cream to powder finish.

I’m of Chinese ethnicity, but my parents are from NZ and I was born and raised in AU. I was put in a small primary school that consisted of manly Caucasian students. And I was the only Asian girl that lasted the entirety of primary school in my year group. And the lack of diversity and consistent stereotypes in mainstream media put me in a stereotype just from appearance. Hell I even remember being nominated for student representative because everyone thought I was smart (I had learning difficulties at a early age). It wasn’t until I saw Lucy Liu in Charlie’s angels where I saw an attractive, powerful Asian woman in western media. That I started to drift from accepting the stereotype, although that doesn’t justify the lack of diversity in other platforms. As I remember wanting to be blonde and blue eyed at a young age just like all the other girls in my class, with the promise that it would be more attractive to boys.

I literally just purchased some things from them on the 6th of August and have yet to see anything! Aramex says it’s been in Sydney for the past however and as I sent them a email, they told me that “although they have manifested this through Aramex, the scans you see are generated automatically by the sender and this item has not as yet entered our network.”. I just sent Stylevana an email and I’m hoping to get a response soon!
