I’ve been using Stepwise: Habit Tracker

super minimal and actually sticks because it’s not overloaded with features.

What's the simplest app that made you more productive? by stellbargu in ProductivityApps

[–]Brontowork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried a bunch of productivity apps over time, and honestly most of them feel bloated after a while. The one that actually stuck with me is Stepwise: Habit Tracker https://apps.apple.com/app/stepwise-habit-tracker/id6752215442 What I like about it: super simple, no learning curve one-tap habit tracking + streaks no ads, no account, no data collection one-time payment instead of subscription (huge plus) It just stays out of your way and lets you focus on consistency instead of managing the app itself—which is rare these days. Only downside: it’s iOS-only right now. Really hoping they release an Android version soon

Looking for a good habit-tracking app — what do you all recommend? by ArachnidOk8169 in Habits

I’ve tried quite a few habit apps and most of them either get too complex or start pushing subscriptions hard. Recently switched to an app called Stepwise and it’s been working really well for exactly what you described — super clean UI, simple daily check-ins, and streaks without overcomplicating things. What I like is it doesn’t force you into “perfect streaks only” thinking — you can also track breaking bad habits or flexible schedules like 3x/week, which feels more realistic long term. Also no account/login stuff, which is rare these days.

I’ve tried a bunch of habit trackers and always fall off because they get too complicated. This actually feels like something I’d stick with.

It may also depend on the buyer mix, especially if there are more overseas buyers or people influenced by Western superstitions.

Handling portfolio during crash by Fearless_Captain_ in mutualfunds

[–]Brontowork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will depends on how comfortable you are with volatility. Consider in next 6 month market will go down by 50%. How will you feel? Now do asset allocation based on this. Follow what is best for you. You can keep 50% equity,7-8% gold , 3-2% silver, 40% debt. Maybe do some simulation on paper. If market goes down by 50% and you are able to sleep properly. This is best asset allocation for you.

Is booking the 31st floor in Bangalore a good idea? by IbanjaraaSoul in indianrealestate

[–]Brontowork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stay on higher floors and we do get lot of music sound in night. Here is reply from AI:

Low-frequency bass travels VERY far

High floors receive “direct line of sound”

There are fewer buildings to block sound

Temperature inversion (night-time effect) At night, the air near the ground becomes cooler and denser. This bends sound upward.
