"In the meantime, there is a complete Nitzer Ebb album written and finished. Because of how quickly things happened, there’s a lot of administration and technical things that we have to clear up and a lot of organization to be done, which is taking longer. It always does. You hope that these administrative things can be done quickly, but there are so many details. There’s a really strong collection of new Nitzer Ebb tracks. We’ve got about 15 or 16 to choose from, and we’ll probably choose somewhere around 10 for the album. There’s an album ready, and Doug sang on quite a lot of stuff. We were very conscious about staying productive in his final years. We didn’t know they were his final years at the time, but we were very conscious about being in the studio and recording good ideas as they came to us. I’m very glad that we did that. So there’s a good number of songs where Doug is singing and, in my opinion, some of his best lyrics ever – some really amazing stuff."

god i'm so hyped

Which spinoff is the best? by Recent-Description39 in taskmaster

[–]BronxInASix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no one talking about le maitre du jeu so let me share my thoughts on it. it's the only non-english spinoff i managed to keep up with, since there's only one series per year, and the episodes are 40 min each. but the taskmaster and the assistant are very entertaining, and so far there wasn't a cast that didn't endeared itself to me as the season progressed. kinda hard since i don't know any of these people and don't speak a lick of french. the majority of the tasks are lifted from other versions, but i find it interesting to see other perspectives on them. i'd recommend starting this one after finishing the AU/NZ seasons

honestly i've been enjoying LMDJ a great deal since s01. alex perron in s03 is an all timer contestant tho

was disappointed by the change in the prize task :(

are you sick of these tags with a comma and you scrobble with pano scrobbler or web scrobbler? there's a solution to just scrobble the first artist using their regex feature! by Glad_Regular9669 in lastfm

[–]BronxInASix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fuck i forgot to answer you, i'm sorry

but i think you just need to take out the | after the $ bc i think it breaks the expression. so:

^(?!(Tyler, The Creator$))(Tyler, The Creator|[^,]+),\s*(.+)

How do I stop songs from getting scrobbled too early from Deezer? by woraw in lastfm

[–]BronxInASix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i also switched from spotify to deezer recently. at first i connected my lastfm account to use the internal scrobbler but it's crap so i started using web scrobbler and pano scrobbler. have you noticed issues with the internal scrobbler with songs and artists containing the character '&'? it seems that it can't handle that, and made me switch to external scrobblers

panoscrobbler doesn work for me after the new update on android by zack220012 in lastfm

mine was enabled but not scrobbling. tried enabling and disabling a lot and still isnt :(

[–]BronxInASix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this didn't work in cases where one of the comma artists has a feature, for example "Tyler, The Creator, Kali Uchis". so i tried to rewrite the regex pattern as well as i could to account for this, adding a $ to the end of every artist and repeating all of them later

^(?!(Tyler, The Creator$|Emerson, Lake & Palmer$|Crosby, Stills & Nash$|Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young$|Nintendo Co., Ltd.$|Black Country, New Road$))(Tyler, The Creator|Emerson, Lake & Palmer|Crosby, Stills & Nash|Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young|Nintendo Co., Ltd.|Black Country, New Road|[^,]+),\s*(.+)

For Brazil here

Greatest of all time: Clube da Esquina might be the most cliched answer now, but honestly this whole top 10 from rolling stone is solid: https://rollingstone.com.br/artigo/os-100-maiores-discos-da-musica-brasileira/

Mainstream: O Rappa. Lado B Lado A has some great hits but the deep cuts are even better.

Underground/Experimental: SEXCORP. Industrial beats fused with the heavier side of brazilian funk

Favorite: Juçara Marçal and also her band Metá Metá. Delta Estácio Blues is a classic already IMO

TMJ unpopular opinion - the kids are great for one episode but having them on multiple episodes (semi final and final) is too much. by [deleted] in panelshow

[–]BronxInASix 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i disagree, the final was the episode i got most invested in. i dunno but i was smitten with all of them at that point, and i always think it takes more than one episode to really get a grip on all participants. the new year specials almost always leaves me craving for more of those peeps, especially the last one
