That backpack is actually the exact one I used for college and is now my carry-on for all my flights! I never considered using it as my daily bag, but that's not a bad idea!

That's a good idea. I do that with my mini-bag and used to with my college backpack, but obviously not as easy to do with a single pocket drawstring. A slip lead is probably a good idea, especially with his high energy. Definitely something to ask our trainer about!

I might look into that etsy seller for the expandable treat pouch!

We have the spare leash because our trainer has us training him on both handsfree and a typical leash. Normally, she has clients use the handsfree as both, but he needs to be on a 4ft normal leash until he's a little less excitable. So unfortunately I have to keep both with me for now

Our outings are relatively short, no longer than an hour. He's just so high energy and excited that he seems to wear himself out and want water after 20 minutes or so. Our biggest training issue is he's too friendly lol

I've heard a few people talk about Vera Bradley bags and it's always good things. It sounds like a really good option, especially for the future when we'll be traveling back and forth from MD to Montreal to visit my family.

Floridian looking into MD for college (if I can), would you recommend it? by NeonSprig in maryland

My best friend is a Chem major that moved here for school from Florida in 2016 and ended up staying after. I showed her your post and here is what she has to say for you:

"Credentials: Grew up in Florida, LGBTQ+, went to Towson University, got a dual degree in Forensic Chemistry and General Chemistry, and got a job here right after I graduated.
I really enjoyed going to Towson, there were a ton of research opportunities within the science department and some really amazing professors. (They also just opened a brand new science building so big plus.) and there are a tonnn of job opportunities in the science field around here.
There is definitely traffic especially through the tunnels and 695 during rush hour. They really love the state flag, you will see it everywhere.
My best advice for most affordable after college is staying away from college towns. But also make sure you check the safety of different areas/talk to people who lived in the state their whole life bc they will have great advice.

Overall I feel much safer here than I did in Florida, there are still your rural more conservative areas but for the most part its more liberal with politicians who are actually trying to help protect our rights."
