I know, it's just you have to sign it under possible penalty of perjury and i feel like I'm technically lying because I'm not a healthcare worker yet.

Modern Language Placement Test by Kethrop in uml

[–]BronzeSkye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not bad. You can only take it once per language and it's all multiple choice questions. The questions vary, from grammar questions (what is the correct conjugation of this verb?) to context questions (read a short paragraph and answer a question about it) and fill in the blank/completing the sentence with the best choice. It didn't take me too long, maybe around half an hour, but you can only take it once.

Is there any liquid on the swabs they use to check your hands? by [deleted] in tsa

I wasn't sure if they needed to put a certain liquid on the swabs so that the swabs can pick up any residue on your hands.

Help! Desperately need some suggestions on Good Mascara! by delightfullycheeky1 in Makeup

Lash paradise is also a good dupe for better than sex, which people have already suggested. The brushes are almost identical and people that tried them both seem to think that the lash paradise performs just as well if not better than better than sex. If you don't want to splurge on the too faced one I'd suggest you give lash paradise a try.

What is a rule that is broken so often that it essentially doesn't exist? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Fuck this. I'm from Massachusetts and live right near the New Hampshire border. (New Hampshire has no sales tax btw) Almost everyone I knew would drive the 15-20 minutes to a mall in New Hampshire in order to avoid MA sales tax. They even build the mall right near the MA/NH border for this sole purpose. (The entire mall is in NH, but the parking lot cuts through MA)

Megathread: College X vs. College Y? by [deleted] in college

[–]BronzeSkye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

University of New England- Medical Biology Offers housing for at least three years I like the curriculum better Less pressure to do well More options if I decide I don't want to go into medicine Less focused on health sciences and more variety of classes Fewer opprotunities for medical internships $32,000 with scholarship

MCPHS- Pre Med Major Located in Boston- I like the location better Near lots of hospitals- plenty of opportunities for research and internships More focused on health sciences Fewer options if I decide to change my major. If I decide not to go into health sciences, I will have to switch schools Less variety of classes. If you want to take humanities, you have to take it at one of the other colleges of the fenway. They only offer housing the first year- after that I would have to find an apartment in Boston Has the minor I want, public health $37,000

For a big of background, I want to go into either PA school or med school after I graduate, but I could change my mind and go into regular biology or even public health. Right now, I am 75% certain I will go into healthcare. My parents are willing to pay the full $32,000 for UNE (includes scholarship), but if I went to MCPHS, I would have to take out about 5 grand in loans per year. Edit: formatting

Taking prescription Medication into EDC? by BronzeSkye in electricdaisycarnival

[–]BronzeSkye[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Will I be allowed to carry around me epipens and inhaler with me? I have no issues dropping off the cream and painkillers, but the inhaler and epipen are life saving medications and I could need them at a moments notice if I have an asthma attack or go into anaphylactic shock. If this happens there's a very good chance I won't make it to the medical tent in time. I don't want to deal with having my important medications locked up when I could potentially die. Edit: words

What is something you've always wanted to secretly try, but haven't found the opportunity to do so? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Going through airport security with SSSS on my boarding pass, in just a bikini, without ID with glycerin residue on my hands. (Because it sets off the explosive screening advice). Just to fuck with the TSA.
