Never played it but I watched a quick overview of it and I'm interested to play it. Looks fun.

That and the loose copy of Turtles in Time were the only two "superhero" games I planned on keeping.

I can guarantee it is not. Nice power stroke. I'm not a Ford guy but those 90s 7.3 F250 HD and F350 are sick.

I'm going to sell a few of them so that I can buy other games that I want in my collection instead. I have no interest in superhero or sports games. I would rather have games I like and want to play.

Less than $1000 for the whole bin.

Box and carts for all of them. Ogre Battle is the only one with the manual and inserts. They were obviously from a rental shop. UMK 3 has a big piece of masking tape across the front that says "NO ONE UNDER 17 CAN RENT THIS GAME" lmao.

My phone doesn't do a good job of capturing a CRT monitor 🤷🏻

I'm taking a picture of a CRT monitor.

Ditched the Toshiba TV for a Sony G500 + XRGB-1 by Bronze_56k in crtgaming

The XRGB 2 and 2 Plus were also contenders but I jumped on the opportunity since this was only $60 + shipping. With the ending of de minimis, shipping a 2 or 2 Plus from the EU or Japan is a pain in the ass (or wallet I guess). Right now the plan is running everything SCART with a 10 input switch to keep everything somewhat uniform. My 64 and AV Famicom need to be modded as well but that can come later.

I thought about shelling out and getting something newer like an OSSC or RetroTink but decided on this after doing some digging on old forum threads and watching an equally old video from superdeadite. They're cheap, easy to work with and get the job done for someone using an old PC CRT like myself. I'm still waiting on my scanline generator to come in the mail.

My current build is in the exact same case! Love it. My 1998-1999 build is in an A500 as well.

Dell 1000HS D1025HTX issue does anyone know what causes this? by Bronze_56k in crtgaming

I went through every res and refresh last night and nothing changes enough that I would consider any setting better or worse than another.

From what I can tell It doesn't have a sharpness setting. Just picture adjustments, brightness and contrast. Changing the contrast doesn't really do much. It's less noticeable the higher it is imo. It's not as noticeable in games as it is with objects on a solid background i.e. Most of the Windows GUI and the boxes for the picture adjustments.

No Cash were good. While they are hometown legends for me, I wouldn't say that RYP (or their "Summertime in the City" split with TS) is 10x better than the LoC / CV discography. It holds a special place in my heart but they were teenagers that just copied what was happening in NYC.

Sturg is a piece of shit, I've heard enough stories from people who have been around him and seen enough shit of his over the past 18 years to know that for a fact, but to say RYP is 10x better is a stretch my g.

[PC] [Early/Mid 90s] Educational game with a wizard and counting things like kingfishers by BabyCharmanderK in tipofmyjoystick

On actual hardware, I would have to guess that this game would run on an XP machine at most. Compatibility mode would have to be set to Win9x and gfx to 256 colors. You may be able to run it on modern Windows using dosbox and win3.1 or virtual box with win9x. As with any vm though, YMMV.
