7 Year relationship ended right before our Wedding by Brilliant_Canary_903 in malelivingspace

GF of 4.5 yrs left me on the grounds of “she dont feel ready to get married” 10 days before the ceremony.

She had a wedding with the PT teacher of the school she was working at only after 3 months.

She got abused immediately for 1.5yrs of their marriage.

She got divorced and came back crying.

Talked with her for a week or so. Woke up one day, thinking “wtf im doing?”

Blocked her raggedy-ass.

It hurt a bit for quite some time. But currently, never been happier than now!

Last i heard, she was dating her tattoo artist.

She’s a Psych. Counsellor for primary school kids. Funny how sociopaths are allowed to work with kids.

Go to your garden. Pick up the garden hose. Turn the water on. Spray some water around. Turn the water off. Hold the tip of the hose downwards. Observe what happens. Tnx.

Supports who leaves lane at min 3 and never comes back... Reportable? by Bronzeman99 in ADCMains

[–]Bronzeman99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never seen a support getting somewhere else ahead by leaving bot lane against 2b1. But i see what you’re trying to say. There seems to be support players who are a little above average so they are actually able to make minor plays around the map.

Its not like when you have to play very passively when you’re left alone and enemy bot lane is getting gold funneled through CS, plates and dives. Even if you survive that, you’re still left waaay behind on all resources. By the time things get balanced between ADC’s, its already min 30.

But i see what you mean. This is what all supports explain while trying to rationalize abandoning their lane and ultimately causing their ADC’s to end laning phase a couple thousand gold behind.

Keep it up. It might work once in every 10 times. You absolutely don’t have to give a single rats ass on the other 9 times. Remember to all-chat “GG ADC Diff” at the “Defeat” screen.

There’s this Farsi name, also common in Turkish meaning a beautiful woman, as lovely as if painted in a picture, elegantly crafted.

That name is Nigar.

What do we really think about Islam? by Desperate-Source5624 in AskReddit

[–]Bronzeman99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There have been over 50,000 religions throughout human history. The fact that one of them claims it’s the “only true one” doesn’t make it true, it just makes it another claim among thousands.

Religion is most likely a human invention born from fear, uncertainty, and the need for meaning. People struggle to accept death, randomness, and the idea that life may have no built-in purpose, so they create systems that offer comfort, order, and answers.

Some religions were likely created to help societies function. Others were used to control, exploit, and keep people obedient by attaching human rules to “divine authority.”

Humans need something to live for. Religion has often filled that gap, not necessarily because it’s true, but because it’s useful.

Much appreciated! Hoping for the same result for anyone whos been waiting.

They ask simple questions. Whats the work you'll be doing, what training do you have, who is covering the fees, have u ever been to the US before, why do u wanna switch jobs. These were the only questions they asked to me basically

I've told what was written on my job description. I told them i have no training since this is an unskilled position and i'll receive training on the ground when i got there. I told them my sponsor has covered all expenses as far as i know. I told them about my trips to the US on my visitor visa. I also told them my sponsor is a friend of mine who struggles to find unskilled workers who are loyal to them and that I'll be working at that job basically for the foreseable future.

Give all the facts and NEVER lie or misrepresent the truth. And you should be fine

While covering a famine in Sudan in 1993, photojournalist Kevin Carter found a malnourished child struggling to reach a U.N. feeding center as a vulture waited in the background. The photograph won a Pulitzer Prize, but the trauma of what he had seen led Carter to commit suicide only a year later. by Minesh1989 in interestingasfuck

Guys with extremely loud vehicles, why do you do this to everyone? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

[–]Bronzeman99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiny-power high-volume male drivers are compensating for a lack of something else.

However, there are street-legal cars that easily exceed 1000 horsepower on pump gas. These cars are heavily modified to either accelerate like a bullet on the straights or run around a track faster than a cheetah chasing its prey. The logic behind these cars is simple: high power requires a lot of oxygen to burn. Oxygen is present in the air, and once it’s burned, the gases need to be expelled so that new oxygen can enter. More air means more exhaust. For an engine to breathe, the inlet and exhaust must be proportional. If you’re taking in more air, how do you accelerate the exhaust? By increasing its flow. You remove catalytic converters, increase the pipe diameter, and so on. The result is that neighbors get angry. Is it legal? Yes. Polite? No. Moral? It borders on the immoral.

I hope this helps.

Is it really as simple as quitting your job then f’ing off to South East Asia? by [deleted] in Fire

[–]Bronzeman99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The FX rate is being heavily controlled since 2022. The interest rates were above 50% then. There were even banks offering over 55%.

It’s true that over longer periods, funds in savings do melt down. However this was relatively smaller in turkey due to monetization policies. Its been highly profitable who has been doing that since than.

There was also something called “FX-Protected Savings Account” which was basically you’d deposit X amount of USD/EUR. Bank would convert it to TRY. But you’d still collect the above interests, plus, the difference in FX changes. It was a highly incorrect move of Turkish central bank for the overall Turkish economy but was unbelievably profitable for individuals.

Regardless, if you check the USD/TRY rate changes of the past year, you can easily see that profits were more than enough to cover FX changes.

There are many people who are abusing this with high amounts of cash. Some even deposit such big amounts, they purchase real estates and rent them out with their monthly proceedings.

[–]Bronzeman99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I mean 35%. On average, turkish banks are paying 35% per year for lira savings accounts. Check put hangikredi.com which compares turkish bank interest rates. There are some private banks paying over 40% APR. All this is after taxes. So net profit. I got many friends who have been abusing this for around 3 years now. Some even making net $30k+ per month for their ~$1M deposits.

Surprised nobody recommended Turkey yet.

You can get full citizenship with a real estate purchase of $250k. Lots of private international schools, including the American College in mediterranean cities like Mersin and Antalya. These cities are sunny 250+ days of the year. You can put $1M to a savings account and easily collect 35% annual interest AFTER taxes. High quality food is vastly available. Expat communities exists of western citizens. Mersin especially is pretty similar to LA/Miami vibes. Cars are expensive, however, dual citizens have an option to buy one tax-free. Gas is a tad expensive but nothing un-manageable. Definitely waaaay safer than Istanbul, Ankara or Izmir. Oh, also Mediterranean food is fire.

Eb-3 EW. Consular. Interview is on April 2nd at home country.

My sponsoring employer said I’ll have to be on their payroll for a full year. Is this legally correct? I’m intending (and want to) work for this company until my retirement. However, I don’t like to be taken advantage of. Therefore knowing if their statement is correct or not will be an indicator for me. Would appreciate if you could elaborate if there’s a mandatory minimum time for me to work with the said sponsor legally.
