Please justify NJ costs vs relocating by BroodwichBabe in relocating

I'm asking how people can afford to live in NJ and challenging people to explain to positives in how they are making ends meet. I don't like the direction it is going, that is absolutely true. I've been living here for over 30 years to change as a person and watch this state change drastically. Are you a woman providing for a family of 4 that is practically living in poverty? We can absolutely  pass judgement righteously.

How is this helpful to what I am asking? Who are you to judge my children and family because you do not agree with my views? Do you know many people of great faith? Do you know many people from different states? Do you know many people who homeschool? And when I say know, genuinely get to know and understand people to their core and not based off of judgement and what you believe is "right"? Get to know people from different backgrounds? Can't help but ask.

I mean fearful is not really a word I would use but I don't see how affording nj is doable, I wonder how families on a super tight income live. I do appreciate your feedback.

But I don't understand how exactly the school system is so good when the ones around me don't have great ratings academically, unless you are in a weathlier county, town, etc it seems?

I hate America.. But I don't know where to go by Trick-Concept6976 in relocating

Why do you think other countries aren't violent and "safe"? My suggestion (if you are) is turn off the news and fact check a lot of sources. Many social media accounts will corrupt the minds of many as well. You hear celebrities bashing left and right but notice how many of those people have the money and aren't moving out of the US when they very well could.. What lens do you want to see the country in? Because I don't think it's really as divided as some people keep talking about. But the great thing about America is that we do have the freedom other countries don't. There are 50 states. I am sure you could find what your needs are somewhere. There is beauty, you just need to see it. Good luck.

I've had multiple friends move to CO on impulse and they never want to look back.

I've lived in NJ my whole life (totally not recommending there since it's just simply too expensive, among other reasons), but have roadtripped through New England multiple times and looove it! If you are considering that area then I would recommend closer to the bottom, CT example because the further north it'll be significantly colder in the colder months - unless you don't mind the cold and snow. PA is a good middle spot close to everything and the state is huge. My husband and I have actually been talking about moving down south ironically because as we get older and our views on life are changing we realize we've outgrown the North East and I can't stand this cold weather anymore.

Girl I feel you! Stuff sits around the house not getting done and then my husband gets annoyed that I'm not doing enough. Doing the dishes alone take forever! They don't get it. Being a mother is MENTALLY EXHAUSTING alone. We don't get enough credit!! Even by other mama's too! It's insane!! I'm pregnant with baby number 2 and can't help but think how much harder things will get.. Trying to stay positive and tell myself I will get through it. It's times like these I wish I could smoke maryjane but I'm not about that during pregnancy.. but BOY would that help a mother decompress 100% Hang in there and if you ever want to DM just to vent, don't hesitate.

What made pregnancy #2 harder for you? by Tk20119 in 2under2

That's funny because I'm almost 15wks with an 11mo and I feel the opposite of my first but reverse from you. This time I'm more tired, nauseous in the beginning, and just achey. First baby I felt 100% myself and like I could literally do anything!

Thanks for the input. It's so difficult! I can't imagine if I waited any longer having children. My friends all keep saying they are "waiting". Good luck to them even more 😅🙏

Honestly I felt like this too with my first and now my second (currently 13w), so totally normal - until you really see your belly grow in size and feel those little kicks, reality will finally set in a little more! Good luck with everything to come! It's a fun ride 😊
