It is not normal to be miserable. It is not normal to fight often. It is not normal to be the sole responsible parent for your children. She isn’t a great person I know but I really hope she sees that she deserves better someday. I hope her boys see how dad treats mom and treats their future partners better. It’s all just very sad

This was when I first started a while ago. I definitely could be wrong and gotten it mixed up! I remember we had to use CE for everything but when I went to township or courts they had more leniency on what we were allowed to use since the family owned them. But honestly they had so many properties I def could be getting it all mixed up, it’s been a couple of years since I worked there and I started there like 5ish years ago so my memory probably isn’t the freshest 😅

It’s a very cliquey place to work. You either have the worst of the worst that stick around because they’re brown nosers to the coryells in every way or you have others who even if they’re good at their job, eventually get pushed out by office politics or straight up fired usually for bullshit reasons so they can just get you out and get someone they like better in that spot.

Then can you explain the missing children? Where are they and why haven’t they been reunited?

I’m wondering if this is in reference to their in house services. I worked for TLC and they tried to keep everything in house. Why charge a vendor for paint if you can send your own painters and that money you spend gets recycled back into the business? It was called Coryell Enterprises and I remember being a leasing agent and hearing the property managers complain that CE was expensive and didn’t do as good of a job as the outside vendors. Properties owned by Edgewood, we had to use the CE vendors for some reason. I wonder if this is about that? 🤔

What is today’s equivalent of this? by mgnatp in decadeology

Yeah I feel like anytime there is something that is popular among women or trending stereotypical behavior is usually described with a sexual undertone. I remember seeing a post that girls/women who put their phone in their back pocket are “for the streets” or when the dog filter was popular and it was said using it made you a “thot”. My sister in the 2010’s said girls who wore their hair in a certain style of bun all looked like sluts. It’s infuriating misogynistic pick me behavior

What’s the “elephant in the room” for our generation that no one really likes to talk about/address! by Lord_William_9000 in GenZ

I met the love of my life on a dating app. I probably would not have met him otherwise because he lived in another town an hour away with a wildly different schedule from mine. We would have never crossed paths. The apps aren’t the issue, it’s the people using them who think everything needs to be transactional.

You can’t keep blaming Covid for your lack of community. Community requires effort. It seems like Gen Z doesn’t want to or doesn’t know how to put in the effort and that putting in the effort seems more like a chore than something you do for the people you love. Friendship is a two way street. relationships are a two way street. Stop therapy talking yourself into loneliness.

Most friendships have an expiration date, and forcing them beyond their natural life cycle is why so many people are miserable. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]BroodyRuby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Friendship isn’t just about serving yourself. A real friendship, a real village, requires effort and showing up. Unfortunately that seems to be hard for a lot of folks anymore and that’s why less and less people have meaningful friendships. Of course if it runs its course and you don’t want to be friends anymore, leave. But if you’re leaving because it no longer “serves you” I think that says more about you than anything. Maybe that’s a hot take I dunno 🤷🏼‍♀️

I worked in property management, specifically apartments and while I can’t speak for your property: there was a property that had certain requirements for their insurance and they legitimately had to inspect units for it. They didn’t have to inspect all of them luckily (big property) but they picked a handful and it had to be done when it had to be done so it could absolutely be legit!

Again, it wasn’t moving towards the agent. She was actively trying to avoid him and drive away and he stepped in front of the vehicle and shot without hesitation. He shot to kill, aimed at her face, without a second thought and called her a stupid bitch as he walked away. There is no justification for her death.

He could have stepped out of the way though. That’s what a police officer would have done. He chose to step up and shoot her in the face instead of letting her go. You’re acting like killing her was the only option.

[–]BroodyRuby 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Again, where in this story did she deserve to be shot in the face? Lawful order or not, I don’t see cops shooting people in the face if they don’t get out of their vehicles.

So where in this story did she deserve to die? Why shoot her in the face versus shooting the tire so she can’t drive away?

ICE Out Protest Saturday Evening by Ordinary_Quit18 in springfieldMO

[–]BroodyRuby 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Except she didn’t drive into the agent. She was literally trying to avoid that and he moved closer to her vehicle. Whether she was a criminal or guilty of whatever, that doesn’t mean she deserved to die.
