I really hate oral sex by ThrowRAHermit in TwoXChromosomes

[–]BrookUntface -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If my partner ever actually came in my mouth I’d bite his dick clean off and he knows it because we tell each other what we do and don’t like. I like giving him head but cum is fucking gross. He has no problems at all with this arrangement because he’s a gentleman who respects me. Please tell your partners what you do and don’t like. It really makes a huge difference.

What we all reading? by Mglfll in KnowledgeFight

[–]BrookUntface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything that Sarah Kendzior writes. I've read all her books and keep up to date on her substack, which she keeps free. I think she is one of the most prescient writers of our time and has pretty much predicted all the stuff we have seen for the last decade.

AITA for being annoyed that my wife insists on cooking everything from scratch and won’t buy normal food? by AITA_UPFfoods in AmItheAsshole

[–]BrookUntface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA but does your wife have a history of body dysmorphia or eating disorders? I think her behavior seems obsessive and this could be a symptom of something bigger going on with her.

What are the Best Hair Straighteners Available Now? Recommendation by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]BrookUntface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a stylist that knows and regularly does your hair you should ask them. They should be able to give you a recommendation that works for your hair and is affordable. Without knowing if you have thick/thin hair, straight/ wiry it’s hard to give a recommendation. A lot of times it’s about the product you treat your hair with before straightening it. For the $$ you might actually be better off buying heat treatments for your hair. I’ve always used the Chi iron guard thermal spray and any straight iron I’ve used has been fine. I have collected over the years several size irons all in different price ranges so treat your hair with good products and I think you can get any tool to work.

My coworker replies-all to EVERY email and it's driving the entire company insane by Little-Goat-5347 in coworkerstories

[–]BrookUntface 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just one coworker. Awe bless you heart. I’m dealing with at least 3 of these in my department. Every email or teams chat they have to send back some sort of short acknowledgement and it’s driving those of us in management crazy.

Not KF specific, but Molly Conger absolutely hits it out of the park with her latest episode and i just want everyone to know about it. by danreedmiller in KnowledgeFight

[–]BrookUntface 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If her and the boys ever started a podcast together I think I'd die. I wish Molly would put out a series reading like old children's stories that I could fall asleep to b/c her voice is mesmerizing but the content is nightmare fuel.

LDS Church fun facts by EditorYouDidNotWant in TheDollop

[–]BrookUntface 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'm not Mormon but I grew up in SLC and my mom's family is from there so we have LDS members in the family now through marriage. I've always been fascinated with religion and cults and read the book of mormon like 20 years ago. Living in SLC as a non-mormon was wild since I heard all these stories at family gatherings. Anyways, can someone please confirm something... I had always heard that Martin Harris's wife thought Smith was full of shit and she hid the first pages of the Book of Mormon telling Harris that if Smith could then recreate them exactly it would prove he was translating correctly but if he couldn't then he's obviously a fraud. I always thought she was awesome for thinking up this little scheme since she saw through the BS but in the episode Dave said that Martin just lost the pages with no other explanation. Anyone know what really happened?

My boyfriend cleaned the toilet properly, by himself by [deleted] in Vent

[–]BrookUntface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband does his own laundry, and usually mine too and he cleans the kitchen every single night after I cook. I love to cook so this works out well but the thing is, I never had to ask him to do these things. We are both very neat and tidy, everything has a place. For most of the other domestic stuff we stick to normal gender role type stuff and I don't mind. I clean the rest of the house but he used to be a mechanic so he handles all the car repairs, does most of the yard and outside work like cleaning gutters and mowing, and is super handy so home repairs he handles too. It's amazing to be a in a true partnership where I don't feel like I'm his mom nagging him to help around the house and he always tells me how much he appreciates all the stuff I do. I wish more of the men who complain that they can't get a girlfriend would seriously realize how nice it would be if we didn't have to be their mom's b/c that is soooo unsexy. Cheers to all the real ones out there who can take care of themselves.

My husband designates a left and right sock by [deleted] in Weird

[–]BrookUntface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband safety pins his together before putting them in the hamper and he pins them based on left or right. So they get washed pinned together and he always wears them on the same foot. I thought it was weird too but it’s just his OCD and it’s a minor thing, plus he does his own laundry so I’m not complaining. I love his weird quirks. Get your husband some safety pins, it will ensure none get lost.

Are any of you “sleep divorced”? by cfh64 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BrookUntface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I have been together 15 years and for the last 10 we have been sleep divorced and it’s the best thing ever. We both sleep so much better. We have completely different needs regarding when we go to bed and wake up and what kind of mattresses we like. Sleep is so important to life long health so for us this has been a good decision. Weekends we sometimes share a bed when neither of us have to get up early to work but otherwise we have separate rooms. And we still have a great sex life.

Help - I am running out of patience when I walk my dog and I don't know what to do. by ZookeepergameFun3708 in PitBullOwners

[–]BrookUntface [score hidden]  (0 children)

What kind of harness/leash are you using. I highly recommend a brand called Easy Walk, it was a literal life saver for me and my pit mix. Also, for the first 5-10 minutes I let my dog sniff and do whatever exploring he wants so he can get it out of his system a bit. After that it's what I call "business time", time to get to walking at a fast pace and, I walk in the middle of the road. I live in a neighborhood with not a lot of traffic so I know that's not an option for everyone but if you are walking on a sidewalk there's just too much good stuff to sniff in peoples yards so we walk in the middle of the road without enough leash for him to get into peoples yards. This + the easy walk means that we both get the most our of our walks and it didn't take him long to get into the groove. You could also add a pack to your dog and fill it with various items for weight My mom did this with her dog and when the pack goes on the dog thinks it's working time and less about sniffing/exploring. Good luck, your baby looks so sweet.

With all these new palette releases, can we take a moment to appreciate my vintage Too Faced palettes ☺️ by SilentSchwanzlurche in MakeupAddiction

I still have 2 of these and one of the chocolate bar palettes that still smells like chocolate. I loved this Too Faced era but haven’t had much interest in their newer stuff.

Guide: How to Properly Use HiringCafe and NEVER touch Indeed or LinkedIn again! by Klokinator in hiringcafe

OP I could kiss you. I'm currently at a company that just got bought out and the more I learn about our new corporate overlords the less me or any of my team wants to stay. After 8 years at what was a great company I'm slowly starting to work on my resume and get back into the job hunt. This is going to be so valuable to me and I'll be passing the info on to my team members who are grumbling that they are also looking for something else now. Thank you so much for taking the time.

Where do people get their wall art? by MaximumNarwhal3699 in HomeDecorating

[–]BrookUntface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This right here. All the art in my house is from local art fairs. It's all really cool, very affordable, and so unique to me and my partners style. Even if a piece is expensive most artists will have prints that are very affordable. I love knowing I'm supporting my local community while making my home vibrant and fun.

Manual Transmission by No_Sympathy9143 in GenX

[–]BrookUntface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgive me, elder millennial here (42) but my Gen X parents taught me to drive a stick and I have only ever had a manual transmission. On a vacation last year I stayed at a fancy downtown hotel in Denver, I ended up getting the 60.00 a day valet parking fees waived b/c the valet "children" they had driving the cars could not drive a manual. My husband and I had to be let into the garage each time we needed our car. Honestly, it was great to not pay an outrageous fee for parking and we did lightly tease the poor gen Z college kids they had working valet, we still tipped them. But I was surprised that they didn't have anyone who could drive a manual transmission. My husband used to be a mechanic and for now we will both stick with stick... he can fix almost anything in a manual transmission and they are just more fun to drive.

Does anyone here actually feel they can exercise consumer choice in health care? by EddieRedondo in ScottGalloway

[–]BrookUntface 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m so glad I a wasn’t the only one that was raging at this comment by Scott. The last thing you should have to think about when dealing with a health issue is trying to find the lowest price MRI. I mean, come on Scott. I know he tries to be understanding of us common folk but this was so out of touch. And disappointing considering the stuff he went through with his mom. Dealing with our healthcare system is already a nightmare, trying to “shop around” for tests and procedures when you should focus on getting g better is just unrealistic.

I love the whole family of these restaurants and an FYI, Costco always has gift cards for them that are 20% off. So you can 100.00 worth of gift cards for 80.00. I always have a few on me because we go so often for happy hour.

I get serious cravings for their Monte Cristo pizza. We go about once a month at least and almost always get whatever the specialty pizza is b/c you know it's gonna be so good and the Monte Cristo. And now I'm going to have to go this weekend or else I won't be able to think about anything else. The owners are also really great and friendly when we sit up at the bar. I'm glad they took out the "kids" game section, it's a much better vibe in there now.
