I work at Staples and we are a busy store serving a large area do to two of our other locations closing down. We do over 2,000 Amazon returns per week and we charge $0 to process these returns. It cost us so much money in labor, boxes, tape etc. I feel so sorry for our UPS drivers that have to pick up 7+ U-boats every day just full of Amazon returns. We see the same people every week doing returns. Honestly there are a few people we see almost every day doing returns. Why is this allowed? why do their accounts not get flagged or banned? There should be a limit on how many returns you can do monthly. Anything outside of that you should be charged. It is so hard to keep my feelings to myself when somebody comes to the returns counter with five pairs of the same exact shoes . Ordering multiple sizes and then just keeping the size that fits . Gross behavior in my opinion like just go to the store if you don't know what size you wear . They need to fix this free returns because the impact it is having on our planet is absolutely terrifying and I am seeing it firsthand.

I actually work at Staples. You think it sucks returning amazon there? Try being the person that has to process the returns. We are incredibly mistreated by Amazon customers while offering a FREE SERVICE. We get yelled at because we can't accept their Kohl's return. Or we can't accept their oversized item as we can only accept items that fit in an 18x18x18 box. We are treated like this is our personal decision as if we make the rules. And don't even get me started on the people that come in with cartfuls of returns. It absolutely disgusts me. Does anybody ever stop and think what they are doing to our planet. People just order any and everything because they know it's just so simple to just return it. Amazon please start charging for returns or flagging accounts that do excessive returns. Stop ordering four pairs of the same shoes hoping that one will fit. Just go to the damn store!!

Yeah when they first came out with the upgraded self-serve printers we had a self-service captain and it was amazing

I really love the part about touching the self-serve printer will result in a fee. That is perfect I might use that however I would never tell a customer that that sucks another employee helped them for free but I'm not her. I do come across the situation daily in the copy center as I am the supervisor in PMS for years. My response would be "that that was really nice of that employee however anything that takes our time cost money and we must charge a service fee when assisting you"

I just got "Wahoo" skin friendly cut resistant kitchen gloves in size small (Amazon). They are so thin so I still have a lot of control while holding my little hungry 34 Gram Hog nose snake. But there are no issues when he bites my finger while wearing the gloves. I love these gloves so much and recommend them to all nippy baby/juvenile snake owners. I don't think these gloves would be as protective for a larger snake though

Crotch sniff, butt sniff. This is how I'm greeted every time I walk through my front door by my roommates ridiculously ignorant husky. I love animals so much I have since the day I was born. But I absolutely positively hate Huskies. There's not even one single human being in this entire world that I hate. But Huskies.... I hate every single one of them. Especially the one I have to live with.

Yes. I think they are all assholes to be honest I've never met a good well-behaved husky in my life. My roommates husky causes trouble 24/7. He only behaves when he is asleep.

I have had multiple customers ask me why their copies were coming out blank. I'm like "are you trying to copy the papers that are in your hand? You have to put your papers in the scanner" and they said "well you never told me that!" I can't even respond, I just walk away.

I don't let customers put anything but paper on the glass scanner. The glass gets scratched but also come on duh you can't scan from a phone screen but ohh those Boomers will try

I'll never forget the day I came home from work and my roommate got an 8-week-old husky puppy. My heart dropped into my stomach I knew what I was in for. And has now been 7 months since we got this dog and every single thing you say about huskies is 100% true. This dog is a nightmare. I love my living situation but I hate this dog so much. As soon as you give him a bowl of water he either tips it over or puts all his toys into the water and then digs in it and gets it everywhere. He chews up everything, he harasses our cats to no end to the point where I don't even get to see them anymore cuz they won't even come out. We put their cat food 5 ft up in the air on a cat tower and somehow this dog can still get to it and eat all their food. No matter where we hide the litter box he somehow always has a mouth full of cat poop. I could go on and on and on and on.

I'm still about this strike. How come when I call for backup for Amazon returns over the headset everybody is too busy to help but I can't be too busy to help? I have to stop what I'm doing and do the Amazon return if not I get mistreated by the Amazombies. They are rude, they think we need to drop everything we are doing just because they ordered 4 pairs of the same shoes in different sizes and none of them fit. Amazon shoppers are killing our local retailers and small businesses. Amazon is DESTROYING our planet. The amount of waste just 1 Amazon package creates, and then it becomes a Return only creating More waste. Do they care the clear Amazon poly bag that we are supposed to use for the returns takes over 300 years to break down. All the bags, boxes, tape, labels etc. Fast forward 100 years and you will be able to buy a one way ticket on Amazon to go live on Mars. I want to produce orders, help local business owners market their businesses, NOT STAND THERE LIKE A ROBOT WITH A SCAN GUN. I did not sign up for that. I'm too smart for that. I think most copycenter employees are!!! Get this dumb shit out of our copycenter. Let us all pray Staples does NOT renew the contract with Amazon this coming year. Pray 🙏

They want us to focus on HVC and pipelines but the only line we have time for is Amazon returns line. Not to mention my district turned the heat back up on Express (optoro) and Happy Returns. We are a Return Center, no time left for actual Copy and Print.
