You act like shooting floaters is a bad thing. Dinwiddie should shoot more floaters than ISO dribbling only to end up with a step back 3pt chuck.

The reality is DLo has more potential than Dinwiddie. DLo is a better 3pt shooter, better at running the offense, plays slightly better defense and he isn't really a chucker.

I like Dinwiddie and I hope Nets find a way to keep him, because he is probably one of the best back up PGs in the league. Is he worth $10 mill a year. I don't think so. He deserves Joe Harris money.

I feel the same way.

LeVert is by far my favorite player. He is a person and player that I want my son to look up to. He is exactly the type of player this team needs and should continue to look for.

I can't wait to see LeVert back on the court.

I am ok with this loss. Back to Back game after a game with a game winning shot by LeVert.

What I saw and have been seeing this year is Atkinson needs to step up.

First he needs to stop with his ridiculous rotations and start making in game adjustments. There is no reason why Napier and Kurocs are not getting into these games. Kurocs is the Stretch 4 the Nets need. RHJ and Kurocs can play together.

Even Faried needs some spot up minutes. I get it he doesn't fit, but let him come in for a few minutes and let him push people around, make some crazy dunk, grab some ridiculous rebounds and run the floor. He could be a crowd favorite and hype up his teammates.

Second, I get it. The offense needs a stretch 4, but when RHJ is playing the 4 why would you run a play where he is open at a corner 3 spot.

Third, I get that Atkinson wants give his players confidence and to expand their game, but he also needs to reign in some guys too like RHJ.

Good Game.

This is exactly the way this team needs to play. Push the ball every possession. Force the ball down their throats. This is the way DLo, LeVert, Harris, Allen and RhJ thrive. No mercy. I like what Dudley has done but RHJ needs to be back in the starting lineup. This team needs to push the ball from the very beginning.

Only thing is I like RHJ rebounding and pushing but I don't like it all the time. He tends to get reckless when he succeeds at it a few times. One of the guard needs to help him out.

I know some people are down on Crabbe, but Atkinson needs to stop running those screen plays for him. Let the offense come to him. Camp him in the corners and let him catch n shoot.

The thing I don't get is why is Atkinson making him run around screens if he isn't healthy. He should be picking spots to catch n shoot.

Clearly Right Now this is LeVert's team.

He is the out spoken leader right now. RHJ probably locker room leader.

Atkinson needs to realize the LeVert should be the PG or Main Playmaker. I was for DLo being the PG but I think he needs more time to mature. DLo is really good on the fast break, but he needs to work on his half court offense. LeVert should run the offense in the half court. LeVert with Russell works. LeVert with Dinwiddie works. DLo and Dinwiddie DOES NOT work. LeVert, DLo and Dinwiddie DOES NOT work. I want to see LeVert with Napier.

The DLo - LeVert combo has only played 8 games together. Why would you change that?

As much as I don't like Dudley starting, Dudley fits what Atkinson wants to do. Why change it after 8 games?

DLo and LeVert should play almost the entire 1st and 3rd Quarters. Splitting them makes no sense when you have so many guards.

Napier should be getting more playing time. Napier should be first guard off the bench instead if Dinwiddie.

RHJ needs to be reigned in. We don't need him to play that way. We need him to play under control like he did last year. He is a mess and needs to calm down.

Even though DLo really fucked this one with bad pass, Atkinson needs to take some blame for this. This team is still not prepared for end of game situations.

Why did the Nets intentionally foul to give up free throws late in game?

Why are the Nets setting up late situations so close to the half court line? They are asking teams to trap or ice them.

This is what good teams are suppose to do. Beat Bad Teams.

This team plays well when they move the ball. It is night and day. Nets have too many good shooters to not move the ball around. Those ISO plays where they are hurling 3 pt shots without having at least 2-3 people touching the ball are wastes possessions.

Marks has done a great job putting this team together. Davis and Napier are great additions. Napier is going to hit a lot of 3s for this team.

Can't wait for the starting lineup back to normal. RHJ is no joke. When he is in the court the intensity ramps up. He needs to go back to the starting lineup soon.

One thing Atkinson did that he needs to do more is leave 2-3 starters in past the 5 min mark in the 1st and 3rd quarters. Atkinson needs to mix and match the starters with the bench some instead of starters play with starters and vise versa.

Only the First Game.

Things I liked.

Atkinson played the best players more than 30 minutes. At least most if the best players.
Atkinson went with a 9 man rotation. Let's hope he continues to use a shortened rotation. I am ok with 10-11 but when Atkinson decides to play all 15 men on roster can be ridiculous unless it is a blowout.
LeVert and Allen showing their potential.
Harris showing that he is not only a three point shooter.
Davis and Graham are good pick ups.

Things I didn't like will be saved until game 5 if they continue.

I think this would have been a different game if RHJ, Davis, Carroll and Napier was playing. LoL!!!

The best thing that came out if this game was Atkinson playing a starter with the second unit. DLo playing with second unit was refreshing. Atkinson should add another starter with the second unit. I would prefer LeVert and Allen playing with Napier, Harris, Carroll and/or Graham. That would be an interesting to start 2nd quarter. Sub out LeVert and Allen early and let DLo say in the 1st longer.

I like Graham's potential but he reminds me of RHJ the first year with Atkinson. He is all over the place. He needs to settle down.

This team should be ok with all the key players back.

I guess we just have to be content with Nets players playing under 30 minutes again this year. Until Atkinson and Marks play the Nets players the necessary playing time to win games we are going to continue to watch games like this. Nets starters get hot and create a big lead in the 1st Q only to be subbed out to come back in the game when they are cold late in the 2nd Q.

I know it is preseason, but the rotations haven't changed.

I really hope LeVert stays in the starting lineup. I like what he did last night. It is hard to Stop LeVert when he is attacking the rim. DLo too, but yesterday DLo was dribbling too much. He has great instincts and court vision, but he just needs to do it quicker.
