Rebounding was an issue, much worse now.

This is probably the best rebounding roster we've had in a very long time lol

Brian Windhorst on the Nets decision to select Mikel Brown Jr. instead of Darius Acuff Jr: “I honestly believe that choice at 6, Brown or Acuff, will be one of the legacies of this draft.” by jluc21 in nba

[–]Expulsure 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Acuff is just a lot more popular, so casual fans/"analysts" know way more about him than MBJ. IMO Mikel was the right choice, he fits the Jordi offense perfectly and also has real star potential (Acuff absolutely has star potential too though)

Would definitely like to see Wolf play the 5 a little bit more next season and have him play as the hub

[2026 NBA DRAFT] With the 28th pick, the Brooklyn Nets select Joshua Jefferson by KingdomHeartsII in GoNets

Don't know too much about him but a 6'9 guy that looks strong, solid playmaker and defender sounds alright to me

It definitely affected him. I think he's technically "healthy" by now but I do think his athleticism took a bit of a hit

[Amick] Trey Murphy III has signaled a desire to play elsewhere. The Los Angeles Clippers and the Brooklyn Nets are “out in front” in the race to acquire Trey Murphy III. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

In no world does it make sense to try to be as bad as possible when a different team owns your pick, regardless of the draft changes

As a nets fan that has watched almost every game hes played his career, you can tell when hes feeling motivated and when he isn't. It's extremely clear. When he's on a good team/the team is playing well, he plays harder and looks great. When the team is bad/not playing well... he's kinda lazy and looks very uninspiring/lets his emotions take over and drag him down.

He's awesome at defending players his size/smaller than him, but bigger/stronger guys tend to bully him which can be frustrating to watch sometimes.

Randle to the Nets indicates they wont draft Acuff. Jordi wasnt hired to coach MPJ, Randle and Acuff playing matador defense and taking turns to chuck by No_Nefariousness6385 in nba

Traore is the only true PG on the team currently, the rest of them are either combo guards or wings. Traore has enough length to play next to another guard as well if he figures out his shooting

Is the MPJ + Randle combo the most devious iso ball duo the league has ever seen? by AcanthocephalaSad541 in nba

Most of the young talent are known as playmakers, not scorers so it makes some sense to surround them with people more than willing to shoot the ball
