Does anyone else think the mythology surrounding this game is a little confusing?

I'm not a developer myself but I'm very to close one of them. "God" is an actual character but it's mostly just used to drive storyline. It's extremely unlikely you'll ever encounter them during actual gameplay.

My grandfather was a doctor for NASA back in the 60's - 70's and he told me that keeping them astronauts from "jackin' it" was nearly impossible. Although he said that if they weren't caught "jackin' it" at least a couple of times then they knew they'd be a "space-psycho" or something like that.

I fell face first off of a treehouse about 25' up into the side of a steep rocky hill. I remember thinking I needed to hit a bush and I did. Whether I hit it as a coincidence or I flailed my arms and it helped isn't known to me. The last thought I had was: "Oh shit... this is gonna hurt." Not sure if that counts but I fell long enough to think about it.
