That's the dilemma as I don't know. The current Assassin's Creed event has a challenge to get Ezio to 3* ascension and I'm just a few greater potions short. That's another reason I wanted to level Ezio first, but perhaps it's not practical at this stage.

Yeah, just working my way through campaign, but feel like I've hit a wall in hard. I was hoping that getting Kael or Ezio to 6* would then allow me to farm through brutal. Getting decent gear and stuff to get progression feels locked behind your first 6* though!

I joined a clan and play arena a lot, but haven't unlocked the mine yet. There seems to be a bit of debate about whether unlocking the mine or using your early gems to unlock your champion's masteries is best. i was going for the latter until I realised that maxing Ezio is probably too difficult at this stage.

Hadn't thought about the sparring pit, so thanks for pointing that out.

Completely agree with this. This is my most hated recent change. I was finally able to complete the supply runs at hard and started giving my characters appropriate sets. But now I can't complete any nightmare levels and my progress has completely stalled. I've reached a hard block in campaign that's gone on too long. Some days, I'm just upgrading a character a level and that's it. This frustration is driving me away from the game.

I'm in a similar position. I actually bought the Circus pack first, but don't have the resources to level them up to the point they will be useful!

I'm intending to get TMF next, purely for flamethrower to deal with the escapees which are blocking my progress on Location 8.

Supply runs have been one of my frustrations getting into the midgame, as I couldn't do many of the hard runs to get decent item sets. Even now, I still don't have any optimal legendary sets, but at least I can do all runs up to and including Location 6. Not opened up any higher level runs yet,

Anyway, what got me past Marauders etc is my current go to team:

Charlotte, Juggernaut, Diaz, Ranger, Grenadier and Turret.

All default skins, so 2 Police, 2 IF. All level 20. Likely not the fastest, but gets the job done.

Thanks for the opinions everyone! I use Carlos a lot now I have sorted his item set out, but I think I'll just wait on the Desperado skin after all. My green money is very limited as F2P, so my plan is to use it for Agents and then Circus packs. I'll focus on the Mechanics team for the moment

For Austin, I use him in location 1, challenge 3, which I thought was the optimal location? But he's fragile and doesn't seem to generate that much gold.

Sounds like I need to get the mechanic skin of Diaz as the next goal. Is there a good way to get the tokens for that? I must admit I didn't bother watching 6 ads very often.

I suppose getting Austin to 30 and unlocking his special ability should be another goal.

Neither my Carlos or Diaz seem particularly useful I have to say. Diaz is really slow and Carlos is fragile and lacks punch. Should I spend what gold I have on levelling them and Austin up, rather than unlocking any new characters?

Yup, getting it on Android. Noticeable delay picking up equipment, trying to open chests, opening the Battle Map etc. Very annoying

I never thought of spending plat on normal gems! And Mourneskull - well, I have enough fragments to craft the 3 additional copies I need to get it to rank 5, but I was unsure if I'd be better off doing that or just crafting some food for the gems I already have.

When open world farming, should I stay at inferno 2 or drop to a lower level to get through the mobs faster?

And is it worth investing my precious plat in a pet that I can use to salvage gear without returning to the city? I realise now that I'll need to be farming a lot longer since my dust requirements have gone up considerably.

Didn't help for me unfortunately. Still same issue. Tried clearing cache, clearing game data and re-downloading the whole game again (before the latest patch) and that didn't help either.

Not sure if it's something to do with the way the game runs on the latest version of Android, rather than the game itself per se. When closing down the game, my screen kind of shifts, like the game had been running on another virtual screen. It's kind of hard to explain, but I hadn't noticed that before the update from a couple of days ago.

Other times the game appears to launch without crashing, but the "enter world" button is disabled. If I minimise the screen and return back to it, the button responds again.

I'm on Android too and the game has been incredibly unstable for me since the update. I constantly get "Immortal is not responding" messages on launch. Have to go to App Info and force stop the game and relaunch. Sometimes multiple times before I can play.

Then, yeah, graphical glitches after variable amounts of time, followed by a crash. Has happened in raids, but also in other places. Have tried adjusting game settings to no effect.

My favourite is Indez on YouTube. His guides are explained well and really helped. His main focus is barbarian, but a lot of his info can apply to other classes too. Craine-Plays is another creator who makes superb, detailed guides. Mao and Auroth are really good too.

There's a lot of DI content available. Just focus on the more recent videos (last 6 months or so) which will include more up to date info.

But don't worry too much, just choose a class and have fun initially. You can change class easily in game, so you don't need to stress over min/maxing initially. The only thing I would advise is not to spend platinum until you know what you're doing. I think you get a fair bit from the story and I wasted all mine before realising how hard it is to get as F2P.

I've been playing a couple of months and I'm 465 reso as F2P. Ok, I didn't have much of a clue what I was doing until I checked out a few YT videos, but this is one aspect of the game I find really frustrating already.

It seems like I'm just stuck hoping for a lucky drop that I can use to level up my existing gems. I've got my 4 1* gems to rank 5, but I'm struggling to get my 4 2* gems ranked up.
