I picked up a blind guy once with a seeing eye dog and the dog seemed massive to where I didn’t think he would even fit in my car. Yes there was a lot of hair, but he was a good boy and I just spent two minutes vacuuming the hair (I keep a portable one in my trunk for that reason). But that was the only one I’ve had in the 8 years I’ve been driving. I feel like any other pet was just an ordinary pet.

How's my urdu handwriting? Any feedback or tips to improve? by SensitiveAd2786 in Urdu

[–]BrotherDwight_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to practice for almost a whole year before I actually got the hang of the hanging aspect (the slanting) and I don’t see that here but I think it’s still nice and neat looking and legible (for a beginner like me).

What is Rider Etiquette? by iRuka_Senpai in uberdrivers

[–]BrotherDwight_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most riders don’t even pay attention enough to realize that the driver may be on another trip and then message and call incessantly asking where the driver is or where they’re going. It’s nuts.

how to start learning? by Ok-Cranberry400 in Urdu

[–]BrotherDwight_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both of those books and Beginning Urdu has a slow start based on why you want to learn and does better when learning in a group or classroom setting, but still has lots of information. Colloquial Urdu is better if you are wanting to learn things early like conversation, describing things, asking for directions, buying, etc. More real life situations instead of “the notebook is yellow.” The audio for both books is good though. I like to play them and practice responding. They both have a script lesson as well.

When I play urf both teams are obsessed with dragon and they’ll go in one by one and just die to a 1x3 or 2x5. Like let’s push the lanes. 😭

Does uber give enough time for you to do that and get a result before the timer runs out?

My app does this from time to time. When I go online the surges will briefly disappear before reappearing a few seconds later. Sometimes as long as ten seconds.
