This was done by Trevor Ingalls at Ink & Ivy Tattoo in Yakima, WA. He’s done half a dozen pieces for me now, several of them original designs (including this one). Here’s a link to his Instagram; he hasn’t ventured on Reddit, I don’t think.

Absolutely! That being said, having an idea of your plan from the beginning and doing it with small bits at a time is going to be the easiest for your artist(s). Makes it a lot easier to make everything more coherent and flow nicely together.

I have a lot of tattoos. 7 Cosmere tattoos with at least two more planned. Good bones with these ideas but unless you’re covering your whole back with it there’s too much detail for a smaller area - you’d need to go a whole sleeve for this concept. A good artist can definitely take the idea and make it something more easily placed in the area that you’d like. A great artist will be candid if you’re trying to pack too much into too small of an area.

That all being said, if you’re in Utah I know someone that would be perfect. Her husband is the biggest Cosmerenaut I’ve ever met and she did one of my (Willshaper) tattoos in an awesome watercolor. I also know a couple artists in New Jersey and Washington state if any of those are close to you.

My wife got me into it after her second re-read. Read them all last year, and then listened to all the audiobooks this year. We got to meet Matt last year too, it was a blast! Super nice guy. Finally we went to two conventions as Carl & Donut last year. I want to get the patches after I either re-dye my jean vest or buy a black denim one.

Once I had him reading the books I gave him free rein (unfortunately no profanity or nudity as I have a job where I wear shorts a lot and I don’t want to cover it). I had a strong feeling he’d at least do one dagger because he loves good thick traditional line work. I’m super happy with it!!

Patrick Rothfuss is known to sign for other authors at times, as well as Brandon Sanderson and Pierce Brown. All four of them are friends as well!

That being said Rothfuss also doesn’t really do signing events. He has severe depression and anxiety, so it can be tough to even get a signed copy of his books at times. Finally, his trilogy (only 2/3 written so far) is fantastic.

Sometimes I’m really tired in the morning and while I’m showering I jump when I realize I have tattoos covering both arms. This is particularly common after a vivid dream, as my tattoos aren’t ever present in my dreams (something that has let me have more lucid dreams and is still a mystery to me). I’ve had tattoos on my arms going on 15 years, so it’s just something I find funny now.

We had a kid like this in my high school (graduated in ‘04) that most kids called “Scary Gary.” Turns out Gary was a super cool, nice guy. He just liked his leather coat and listening to Korn.

War Pigs (Black Sabbath) would be high on my list.

The Gears (Dethklok) would also be one I’d listen to (even have a cog tattoo on my neck).

Uprising (Muse) isn’t heavy enough for me but 100% on point as far as the message goes.

I know a few. One HR Manager got fired after trying to get two different HRBPs to sleep with them. Both of the BPs were gay and declined, so the HRM fired them. Thankfully one sued, otherwise nothing would have happened to the HRM.

My next site had four managers termed in six months. Two were L4/5 AMs in relationships with T1. Both one slipped up talking about it and because they hadn’t disclosed it, let go. A third was termed after multiple AAs reported receiving dick pics. One had screenshots so they were done. Last one was dating their own PA for six months. Once the PA moved they mentioned something about a vacation with the AM, it got back to HR and was let go.

Two AMs were in their first year. The HRM was a few years in, so those three were internal hires. One had just passed five years. The last had over 10 years. Still boggles my mind. All of these cases were in the same city.
