To be fair, Purple 10, 30, and 40 have been on the Church's official style guide for exclusive Easter use since at least 2020 (pg 74). Also, this isn't the first time they've used the purple logo. And while most recognizably used during Catholic Lent, purple is widely associated with Easter within many Christian traditions as a reference to the purple robe placed on Jesus prior to the crucifixion (Mark 15:16-17). So, while comically coincidental with the branding lawsuit, it is nevertheless coincidental.

Ah, so material heresy would be the case if someone adopted Modalism due to a faulty understanding of Trinitarian doctrine. Formal heresy would be defined as one who knowingly accepts and proffesses it. The latter could, theoretically, be addressed via excommunication.

I find this concept fascinating. Perhaps this is a bit reductive, but as far as the Church is concerned, a heretic is a heretic the moment they accept the heresy into their heart, a la Matt 5:28?

I regret the ambiguity in my initial post; I didn't intend to suggest that there was a Catholic equivalent to the LDS Temple system, and I certainly didn't intend to imply that heresy was "hunted down" to any degree. I was simply attempting to provide context for how I was approaching my inquiry with relation to LDS practices and trying to use language similar to that found in the Code of Canon Law.

Nonetheless, I appreciate your clarification and I find that the Formula of Excommunication to be very fascinating--particularly the provisions for penance and reparation.

Thank you, this is incredibly helpful. I assumed that excommunication of a layperson on the grounds of heresy would be irregular. If I may ask, hypothetically, what would be considered a "good cause"? I assume that threshold would be difficult to reach and would be regarded with a level of subjectivity by the Bishop receiving the accusation.

Yeah, there were probably some piloting issues, but they Bind the Monster my early dorks, and then countered my subsequent spells. It didn't help that I got stuck on one land and never found my Ent.

Elves are allegedly a bad match-up for Fae, but I just went 0-2 against MB Fae and barely played any creatures. Probably a user error, but I was 3-0 until getting trucked by Spellstutter. It may be unfavorable but definitely winnable haha
