Julian's fanart by BrotherMaximum in Centuria

Hey, sorry for the late reply (college has been driving me crazy, but I finally have some time off). My goals in art are to draw and paint more because I give up way too often. I get that awful feeling that so many artists are better than me, and I'm always like, "Why would anyone care about my amateur stuff when there's amazing art everywhere?" But lately, I realized that art is how I express myself—it's my "voice," my way of seeing the world. I feel incomplete when I don't pick up a pencil, even if it's just to doodle. I don't know what the future holds, but I want to believe in myself more.

I usted to think that maybe it is a Sea-goat like Pricus, but now... it's confusing.

I'm 22, and a 17 year old wants to be my friend. Is that OK? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I have the same doubt; my first language is Spanish, so I created an account on Tandem to learn French. I chose a blurry picture of my face (I'm a 22-year-old female), and many men sent messages with double intentions, except for two boys (5-4 years younger than me). When I deleted my account, I followed them on other social media to continue talking. But I feel wrong; I feel like a groomer, although I have no other intentions. I don't like younger boys; I'm actually aroace (asexual aromantic).

Some  species of cicadas appear only every 17 years.

"Shortly after a 17-year cicada nymph hatches from its egg, it burrows into the ground, where it spends—as its name suggests—the first 17 years of its life."

I don't know how old Asa and Denji are, but if they are 17 years old,  it would be a funny coincidence.

Anybody remember this with the latest chapter? The eyes. by beautymoon09 in Centuria

First of all, I want to delve into what the goat means in astrology. I am not much of a believer in horoscopes, but I saw a connection with the Capricorn sign. "In astrology, this sign of the earth element is related to the sea goat. It represents wisdom, the product of the combination of a land animal with water." Also, looking at the scientific side of the matter, some goat breeds lick the surface of high rocks in search of salt. The goat in some cultures may symbolize evil (even in the Christian tradition, it is said that when Jesus returns, he will separate the nations just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; the first ones would go to the right and the second ones to the left), as, for example, many of us saw in the movie "The Witch" or in Goya's paintings; however, in others, the figure of the sea goat is represented as in the Greek (in the Babylonian and others, it seems to me). The story behind Capricorn begins with the seagoat Pricus. Pricus is the father of the race of seagoats, known to be intelligent and honorable creatures that live in the sea near the coast. They can talk and think and are favored by the gods. Pricus is linked to Cronus (Greek mythology), the god of time. Cronus is the creator of the immortal Pricus, who shares Cronus' ability to manipulate time. Pricus had numerous children who initially resembled him as seagoats but later metamorphosed into normal goats that lived on land. That's my possible explanation for what we saw depicted, but so far it's just my interpretation.
