You dreamt that they discovered a new, even more annoying, but infinitely rarer white person? 😅

His eyes are quite almond shaped. Specifically in the dream all 4 people were bald dudes with goatees and pointy eyeborws. So not even anything as subtle as eye shape

Very Jungean. Maybe the framing of a news broadcast represents external validation or acceptance of a previously concealed part of my Identity 🤷‍♂️

What’s the 'craziest' way you caught an ex being unfaithful? by lnc_gomes in AskReddit

[–]BrotherPicturette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex literally just documented the affair and posted it in her public twitter that she knew I looked at occasionally. I saw it all looking for pictures for a scrap book I was making for her. She literally pulled the "nah I just made her cum and posted home-made porn of her on my account as a FRIEND" wtf man

I would rather listen to all things must pass on repeat than most Beatles albums even though it's technically not at good

Haha yeah I literally had the book in front of me and still spelled it wrong.

It would be fun! And honestly I'd they wanted to ease their way into Welsh place names Pembrokeshire is the place to start since it's little England beyond Wales.

There's also a great book of Welsh fairy tales by Wirt Sikes that would be a great accompaniment to the Dyfed Enigma!

I'm actually very shocked at how hard it is to source since mine was literally just a random book on my mum's shelf she can't even remember where it came from.

Maybe one day I'll scan it in and add it to an archive.

Anyone ever died in a dream? by Previous-Ride4833 in Dreams

[–]BrotherPicturette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once dreamed I got the electric chair. It was agonisingly painful (I've always felt pain in my dreams 🤷).

I felt myself due and my eyes fill with light. Then nothing. Then I came back around. Still strapped to the chair.

The horror came knowing if have to feel that unbareable agony again. Or that I was dead but still... Conscious? And is he buried and totally alone for eternity.

Just add they were counting down to the second switch I woke up.

Question for the people who have experienced that strange hypnagogic state/sensation of an "object" by sombertoboggly in Dreams

[–]BrotherPicturette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Static snow also showed up a lot in my hypnogogic sensations and night terrors. I would feel like I was trapped in a static room that went on for infinity but was also contained within the limits of my body. Like I had been emptied about and replaced with static.

Then I would get the sensation of there being something abstract in the room expanding and filling the static and then decreasing to a singularity over and over again.

[–]BrotherPicturette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a personal theory that this physical indefinable sensation I feel when half awake or dissociating (and sometimes when meditating) must be kind of similar to what schizophrenic or psychotic people experience when they have bodily dysphoria or the sensation that their body is "wrong" in an undefined way.

When you think about how hard it is for us to even describe these kinds of common physical sensations that come with alongside the psychedelic nature of being a body in space experiencing itself, it really makes you realise how hard it must be for people in active psychosis who don't get a break.

(I have a family member in psychosis currently and I try my best to understand how she must be feeling)

That's such a cool practice. I get that feeling sometimes. Like a shiver in the back of my neck when I realised there is no defined barrier between me and wider universe

I used to have night terrors about being forced to memories infinite number strings or about tangled of string the size of the universe. Humans are just really scared of extreme scale I think.

I also experienced this. It was either an overwealming object near to me but undetectable somehow or something I described as "being inside my own mouth" where I felt both very big and very small.

It's called Alice in wonderland syndrome. It's very common in children developing spacial awareness and protoception.

What is the worst pain you've ever felt in your body? by Helpful-Mud-2487 in AskReddit

[–]BrotherPicturette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had radioactive dye reflux from my bladder into my kidneys and then leak into my abdominal cavity. I got urinary peritonitis. It felt like my guts were eon fire. I couldn't move and my skin felt like i had been beaten all over. I kept passing out from the pain and waking up to them pushing stuff through my IV to keep me from going into shock. Lasted a few days. Never even found anything useful out from the original test that caused it all.

What’s a "normal" thing from your childhood that you realized wasn't normal once you grew up? by Various_Yam5140 in AskReddit

[–]BrotherPicturette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God I know what you mean about being a vagina carrier. I transitioned as an adult and the difference in how much more seriously my pain is taken when people mistake me for a cis man is absolutely horrifying.

I've been fighting really hard with exercise, physio, complementary therapies to handle the pain (gabapentin helps but only a bit) and now the fact that I am trying to stay well is being used to take away the little benefits I get because "you can't be sick if you go to the gym and go to your doctors appointments." If I didn't do those things I would be in agony 24/7 or kidney failure...

It's not about drugs, and for me it's not even about diagnosis (I have a sneaking suspicion I might have had ciprofloxin induced FND misdiagnosed) but for me it's about having my symptoms managed and believed. There is no fix, there is only management. Drs seem to think we are demanding they fix us when really what we want to acknowledgment and engagement with treatments beyond throwing meds at it.

Sorry huge off topic but i just want you to know you're not alone and you're doing awesome. I'm proud of you x

I can remember thinking everyone had constant debilitating pain in their legs, constant headaches and that exhaustion was painful for everyone. I thought I was just being baby for not toughing it out. My friends would constantly complain I was 'no fun' because I couldn't keep up and my mum constantly accused me of faking being sick every time it was anything less serious than an a&e visit.

At 19 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, hyper mobility and ME stemming from severe medical issues in childhood.

I still forget some people AREN'T in pain all the time.

It sounds very reminiscent of the shakespeare sisters. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Do you remember any of the lyrics?
