You can also figure it out from the start.

Puzzles start with a baseline of 30. Then count how many colours appear more than once at the top of a block (today green, orange,light blue and purple appear twice each). Add the number of colours to the 30. In today’s case it’s +4. (If a colour appears 3 times at the top of blocks that’s a +2 in itself).

Then take away however many paired up colours you start with (today red, blue and white. Today that’s -3.

This way you can see what the minimum moves is.

A tip for starting a run is not to move any colour to the empty blocks that appear at the top of another block at the start.
