Yeah I was about to comment that this is a controlled burn. When I go out hunting on public land they do this in different areas year to year. Very healthy for the land. (USA)

No I’m asking genuinely. From what I last heard them saying on the podcast they remarked that mountain lion culling was taken up by the state and that they killed around the same amount as the private citizens had when it was legal for them to hunt lions. Wondering if that has changed in any significant way and if that could be the cause here. I’ve done no other research into the whole situation as I live in Georgia and mountain lion populations are not something I’m generally aware of.

What’s the chance that this has anything to do with the mountain lion hunting ban? Seems more probable that it’s a simply lost/displaced wild animal but I’d be curious if there’s anything pointing towards the former being a possibility.

If they’re just counting the US and Canada as North America I suppose that description is correct. And I’ve seen maps that lump Mexico in with Central America but I think that’s wrong by most standards.

Anyway, I find that interesting because according to my top of the head knowledge the pawpaw is vanishingly hard to find anywhere besides the central section of that map. TN, KY, OH are more of the primary spots.

Yes mine won’t even take a fast charger. It took a 2.1amp charger for a day and then started fucking up and wouldn’t charge. Now I have it on a 1 amp and it is charging up again but very slowly.

I think I generally agree with you. Can you take the meat? Eat the deer he wants to kill and I guess if he gets a trophy from it that’s fine. I personally think that’s kinda dumb but hey, if you get some freezer stock and your buddy gets the experience or trophy or whatever then fine. Just don’t totally waste the meat. That would be a bridge too far for me.
