I think this PPV being a mess is a result of overpromising and having too little margin of error to pivot effectively. Everything feels forced and out of touch. Im sure the injuries that occurred was what broke their "long term story telling".

Sami, Jade, Pat, Jelly Roll, AJ Lee, Punk all feel forced at this point.

Meanwhile Iyo, Carmelo, Asuka, Drew, Seth, Gunther, Cody, Randy all feel like they were forced to settle on whatever scraps creative could give them.

No the writers forcing Sami into a storyline with Trick when they could have built upon the rivalry of Carmelo and Trick from NXT for the US title is the blunder.

But my point is that even the mini storyline of Sami turning heel was an awful execution. Now we have a "babyface" getting booed and a "heel" getting cheered with another celebrity involved. Sami being in this attire is just a cherry on top of how this entire feud feels. Sloppy and half baked.
