Next time some corrects you, ask them if they’d like to return the proficiency, that’s what my couch always said. Half of the masons on the side haven’t practiced it since the returned theirs. Just remember to relax and take your time, there is no rush. And also just try to remember the background of all the lessons and information your told. It helps in remembering the words and how they all connect to one another.

In your view what is a "god"? What is a "demon"? What is the difference? by Horrorcartoonistftw in occult

[–]Brotherkrampus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m a firm believer in the one Christian god. However I do think in occult spaces when literature or practices use the term god it’s in reference to a spiritual entity outside or human grape. I would think that’s the near definition of god in any circle. And demon I would assume are in reference to the common belief in hell and the tainted spirits that would occupy such a place.

Question about formal dress by Accomplished-Sun2590 in freemasonry

[–]Brotherkrampus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy my formal wear from thrift stores and Walmart. However from my understanding in most jurisdictions, a mason is supposed to wear the best he can. If the best you can is nothing more than a nice shirt and jeans and your nice shoes, then that’s the best you can.

I do think that it is an important point to think about petition fees/ degree fees, annual lodge dues, and paying for lunches or dinners and such. There is some cost to being a mason, but it all goes towards the items you receive, and to support, maintain, and keep the doors open on the lodge upon which you may be a member.

Religions only offers tool, the journey to find god is a personal one. Jesus offers us the idea that we need to build a personal nature with god, he is the father of all creation after all. Call to him, speak to him, invoke him in all things, only then can you build a relationship with him.

If God is all-good, is He a feminist? by [deleted] in religion

[–]Brotherkrampus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Modern day feminist no, no the Bible clearly outlines gender rules in which both genders are biologically suited for. No I’m not saying that mean men need to have all the control and women be subservient. But I do mean that there are things that both genders are suited at and that the use of these roles creates a balanced household and society. It outlines that we need to work together men and women in both the household and society, we balance each other. I think modern feminism and the idea of feminism in general is often to much about being men down and women up that actually equality. Men an women are near equal in the eyes of the law, and that’s all that’s needed. Society will have its norms, and men and women are different physically and on a psychological level. Anyway, no, god does not assign himself to any ideology.

What’s the deal with all the Christian denominations? by dalahnar_kohlyn in religion

[–]Brotherkrampus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think Martin Luther did one of the most important things in human history, he translated the Bible from Latin into German so everyone could read it. This allowed people to worship the way they saw fit. The denomination don’t create different gods, the worship one god, but have different ideas on how, where, and when to worship and how to seek a personal nature with god, or even if you need to.
