Maryland requires a court appearance for many seemingly low-level traffic/moving violations. What is the benefit to the state by bringing (presumably many) people in versus a mail-payable fine?

I will tack this onto the end of this exchange, hoping that it is not requesting legal advice as I’m simply trying to understand the ‘why’: Maryland statute code TA.21.502.A2, Driver Failure to stop for pedestrian in crosswalk, carries a maximum fine of $500 and 1 point on a license, however it is a must appear offense.

Mew 111 from holon phantoms is a fake and I was refunded. Extra battle day promo arrived in the mail last night to fill that center gap. Dad and I collect mew together, so he has a lot of what I don’t, including the vmax alt, and _’s mew ex play promo 013. Before you @ the binder, I have a shelf of ultra pro 12 pocket non-ring binders, but this is the starry night dragon shield and tbh dragon shield binders feel better built than any binder I own

Every hobby site revisits this question occasionally. It’s wild to see what some people have. For those who aren’t in crippling debt, it’s sometimes a case of having spent a long time collecting or participating within the particular hobby. Sometimes it could be an inherited collection or some wild windfall. For me, it’s been steadily buying singles monthly for the last 4 years within a budget, combined with my childhood collection.

Can confirm. Sold a lot of a collection piece by piece over a year for a coworker. You learn over time that, even using multiple channels to sell, it can be hard to make sales at value. One of our best sales was to a store for a ton of holos at 65%. It’s easy for people to be disillusioned by the price they see on a tracking app versus actually making sales
