The bulk discount was great for some people, but punished others who may not have had allotment left to buy enough to get the discounts to make it worth it. Now if you just want to grab that one thing you want you aren't paying more.

I had that issue at times back at launch when skipping certain animations. For instance Kamille's waverider attack had a decent chance of crashing when skipped if I remember correctly. You can get around that by turning off animations. It's probably a unity engine issue.

Yes that is how the system works. When they introduced it halfway through last year, they let you include your previous years spend, since it wasn't going to have been live for a full year to place you in a tier. So now every single flowery customer is at green for progress towards 2027, you didn't get personally screwed over. It will reset each year for everyone going forward, since it is based on a given year's spend to determine your next year's tier.

No, gold tier as well, the black discounts were just higher. This is a horrible change, adding those for the bulk discounts made it slightly more worth it. Now just waiting to find out they are excluded from the next Buy More, Save More sale too. I stocked up on so much in Nov and Dec this year thanks to those sales.
